Supposed to be the first school in India which educated lots of minds in India, where by making kottayam malayalam the proper malayalam also.

I couldn't study in this college, my parents did and grant parents did. I used to come to this college for festivals and competitions and feel bad, such a college in 5-6kms away and am alone.

Mind Blown by the historical and cultural significance of the place. A very lovely campus and very aesthetically maintained. I was so impressed at the way the campus is maintained so that the antiquity of the place is preserved. I don't know about the teaching quality here but the students seem to be having fun here. It is an autonomous college do it comes with its standards. The campus just is so amazing. If u ever happen to pass by i would really suggest you take a peak

CMS College Kottayam was established in the year 1817, about 200 years ago. It is one of the oldest college in India. Located in Kumarakom route in Kottayam in a serene ambience. The college is full lush and the lovers corner is a must see place. That feeling ! The Malayalam film classmates was shot here.
