Thistle Villas Luxury Spa Resort, Mashobra

Stayed here for two days.

What best about it:
1) Rooms are very nice and you can take a nice view of valley from there rooms.
2) kids playing area available
3) Restaurant is good and you can enjoy scenic beauty from there.
4) Room service is fine.
5) What I like most about this property is close to the nature, No traffic sound and peaceful enviornment which is must needed when you travelling for relaxation

What they need improve:

1) Menu or food items are bit less.
2) They need to update the food quality in terms of Oil and health consciousness.

Summit made our trip really memorable. Outstanding location, it is very peaceful & also mesmoriesing view. Rooms are exactly like the pictures, perfectly neat & clean. Food is also good, breakfast options are very decent. The staff was very polite and helpful. Welcome desk people should be little more professional & welcome drink sould be provided. However these liitle things can be overlooked. I would definitely visit this place again.

Stay at Summit....just wow. Such a beautiful and serene location away from the hustle bustle of the city. Rooms are excellent .... neat and clean with all necessary amenities like hot kettle with unlimited supply of Tea/Coffee, Milk and Sugar sashes. 24 hour heat in the room as all the rooms have Lloyd thermostat AC. We visited in full snow season hence really cold outside (-1 degree) but rooms were warm and cozy. Even beds are equipped with bed warmers. 7 star for cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms have all the necessary requirements including hair dryer (blessing in the cold weather). Breakfast and dinner was delicious with good variety. Staff is courteous and always ready to serve you with a smile. Thanks to Resort Manager Mr. Sudesh who is always ready to help and guide. There was so much snow at resort itself that we didn't feel to go to Kufri to enjoy the snow. I feel summer season will be equally enjoyable there due to its location. We had a five star experience there. We'll must visit again ... this time in summer.

One of the greatest finds and best vacation stay ever. We stayed here for three nights on new year.. right from food to the service by the staff was excellent. The manager of the resort took care of every small request. The feast on new year night was so lavish it would beat any five star hotel. And the live music on our first night stay was a great way to kickoff holiday mood

One of the most amazing properties I have visited till yet. The rooms are designed beautifully the location of the resort is perfect for a weekend getaway,away from the city chaos. The service needs some improvement but as I visited the resort after just 5 days of its re-opening. Can't blame them. They provide bicycles as well if you wanna go and explore the mountains by yourself. Recommend for sure.

Beautifully developed Resort in lap of Hills and lush green forest of Mashobra. Awesome hills and thick green forest view from rooms, Villas. Awesome cafeteria with superb hills view. Spa facility also available for guests. They also provide few activities services for guests if guests want to avail same on chargeable basis.

Beautiful property. Luxuriously set. Amazing views to the mountains. Even the landscaping is beautifully designed, which calls for a walk around. Luxuriously furnished rooms, provided with all basic amenities and the view from balcony is just mind blowing, especially when you have an Apple tree and where you could pluck apples right from your balcony, with just leaning out. Friendly and helpful staff. Spa services were excellent. We loved it and would definitely visit again.

This hotel is absolute beauty. Open air plus inside seating restaurant available. Food is yummy as well staff make us feel special guest. They have a equivalent for all guest that is the most preferable. The prices do justice to the quantity, If you looking for good service and you wish to see heaven in earth then stay once in SUMMIT THISTLE VILLA.
We've seen one extra facility that i've never seen anywhere that is the hitting module inside the bed (I really don't know what we can say that hitting module, I don't know the name of this facility). But Overall top class hotel. If we get chance to visit shimla in future then it would not for shimla beauty. It would be for Summit beauty.

In addition, One incident happens to us that is in the morning we were have to left from the hotel and early morning happens a snow fall that is why our tampo not cross the road due to slip wheels, in that trouble staff member was with us to help to cross that road. Really appreciated. Memorable tour with this hotel.

It is one of the best resort I have visited. A very nice place to stay for a holiday. Lucky enough to stay this feb when there is snow all around and it’s beautiful..The food, rooms and hospitality of the staff everything is excellent.
Snow everywhere and just a doorstep away the glass..Loved being there!
Though the entire road was blocked with snow, the management team were so kind enough to come along and clear the roads..really appreciate them and the care they took to inform us.

Amazing views in winter, full of snow. Electric blankets provided. Breakfast is Indian, not western, but the selection of food from the menu is good, a big choice of cuisines. The approach road is slippery, safer to walk rather than take a car. Staff service is ok, but could be more helpful. Wifi in the room doesn't work well.

Property not booked online for the stay rather we visited to finalise.In a moment the decision was to spend a night.

Cycling activity also available with a stunning view and way.

Far Far better experience as compared to any of the 5 star property.

Gym is to be operational in few weeks.

Amazing hotel in Mashobra. We had a great time staying here. The staff really polite and welcoming. The hotel manager, Mr. Sudesh Sharma himself attends his guests and he's got fun activities for his visitors. We went for a mini trek in the forest. He was really generous in telling us about the place and capturing beautiful beautiful pictures. He added adventure to our trip by taking us on nature walk / trek. Must stay at this place if you're heading to mashobra or shimla. And do meet Mr. Sudesh Sharma if you wanna have fun in the mountains.

We booked a premier room...view was breathtaking. Spacious balcony coverd with snow. Rooms were big and cosy. Buffet breakfast and dinner were scrumptious.
Am definitely coming back here again.

This place is a hidden gem, nestled on top of a mountain with vistas to die for (not literally :p )
I was here with to celebrate a birthday with my family and the staff, in particular the Manager Mr. Sudesh Sharma was quite courteous and flexible in accommodating all our requests.
The entire staff here is warm and welcoming.
Strongly recommend this place to people who do wish to enjoy Shimla from a distance. Mashobra has this gem that you must definitely explore.
Coming to facilities:
-Food is simply amazing.
-Rooms are spacious enough even for 3 people to move freely.
-Balconies are going to be the most beautiful of your stay, I assure you that.
-Go for trek or biking or sit and enjoy the views with a book in one hand and coffee in another.
- oh yeah, don't forget to avail the spa services.

Awsome hotel. Awsome breakfast. Awsome rooms and view. Awsome and very very helpful staff. Can't complain of anything.
Hotel is in Mashobra which is far from shimla city so had to take cab for to and fro. But if u have your own vehicle, this hotel is heaven.

A lovely hotel in the small town of Mashobra. A beautiful property, the rooms are plenty spacious with all modern amenities and more. In winters you can easily spot snow in the hotel and around the area. I'll let the pictures give you a more precise view of the property.

Stay at the Summit Thistle Villas Resort was simply a pleasure. Beautiful property, peaceful location, lovely landscaping, good maintenance, very courteous staff and prompt service. We just loved our experience and the stay in all senses. Highly recommended place to stay in Shimla. Kudos to the Summit team! 👍

We were 3 couple and we have got the Villa of 3 bhk over there..it was one of the best Villa I have stayed ever in my life ..♥

Very beautiful and quiet place to stay.. people close to nature and beauty it's a heaven for them . The staff is humble and courteous . Special mention for the head chef , the food was very tasty and his experiments with the sweet dish were amazing palak halwa and tomato halwa was very unique and tasty

It was quiet at night which is great for sleeping. The staff were ready to do whatever they could to make us comfortable. Breakfasts were very good and the hotel manager, Sudesh ji was very helpful and kind, going as far for us and also help ud personally. Thankyou so, much Sudesh ji.
