Very good place to visit with family

It's a good picnic spot with gods'blessings. We can enjoy playing in water. Several types of chats, fresh fruits and juices are available nearby temple. On full moon day (pournami) food is served to the devotees visiting this temple. The auto charges are Rs. 200/- for one way from Srirangapatna. If you have a own vehicle, it is a better option. City buses are available from Srirangapatna too, subject to timings.

This temple is situated on the bank's of the river Kaveri. It is easily accessible from the road. There is some parking space for vehicles. The Goddess is believed to be very powerful and benevolent. Good many people have faith.
We visited in evening by 4.30. Outside, we saw local vegetables vendors and purchased some fresh local veggies. Honey gulkan and pickles were also sold nearby
Can spend an hour here.
