Gurdwara Tibbi Sahib

From my childhood, I have visited this Gurdwara Sahib so many times. Every time I go there,I feel so much peace of mind & more and more spiritual energy.

Amazing feeling to be here and devote all your feelings to God. One of the biggest gurudwara of ropar city. Situated near the banks of the Satluj river. Must visit and witness the spiritual energy of this place. It also covers a lot of square areas, covered with lush full lawns and playgrounds to relax in.

Peaceful soul cleansing meditation... What else do I need

Gurdwara Tibbi Sahib is located on the banks of river Sutlej. It is a historical gurdwara sahib.

The location of this gurudwara sahib is beautiful and it’s a peaceful and relaxing place on the river bank. In addition the langar here is amazing.

The whole gurudwara management is doing their work well in maintaining the beauty and serenity of the place.

You can feel that inner peace while visiting this place.

Very beautiful & historical Gurdwara Sahib, very beautiful location, it's situated on the banks of river Sutlej at a certain amount of height which gives a very nice view of the entire river area. Not much crowded during day time, you'll enjoy the peace and calmness there. If you've a bit of an extra time whilst passing through Ropar/Rupnagar, towards Anandpur Sahib or Manali, just a little bit of more distance & you'd here on this picturesque & serene place.

Relaxation and lot of waheguru blessings, near to nature . People must this gurdwara Sahib to take blessings of almighty 🙏🙏

Very peaceful place. It has a very interesting history. Situated at the banks of Sutlej river. View is tremendous from the Gurudwara. A must go place for each and everyone. Due to covid-19 situation langar now a days was not served otherwise langar was served 24 hours. Rooms are also available for stay at very nominal charge. I personally recommend each and every person to visit here once in a lifetime.

Gurudwara Tibbi Sahib is situated on the bank of the Sutlej river, Ropar. This gurudwara is at a distance of nearly 47 km from Chandigarh. Sant Baba Jwala Singh Ji Maharaj Harkho-waliye in the 19th century was a great saint of that time. He was a great saint who worshipped Dasve Patshah Shri Guru Gobind Ji Maharaj. His Father Bhai Khumma Ji was the cook(laangri) for the Guru Gobind Singh Ji in Anandpur Sahib.

Being happy at his devotion to feeding the guru and others without any desire, Dasham pita gave him the blessings to go to his village and promote Sikhi and its lessons to others. He smilingly took that task and came back to his village. Where he changed his village’s name from Bhagwai(Hosiyarpur) to Laangeri. He spent the rest of his life-giving the teachings of Sikhism to everyone.
After him, many saints took the gaddi, and finally, it came to Sant Baba Jwala Singh Ji. He poached Sikhism for many years.Sant Baba Bhagat Singh Ji succeded the gaddi from Bhai Jwala Sing Ji. In 1987 Sahdir Singh Ji took his last breaths and handed over his duties to Saint baba Khushal Singh Ji.

He built this gurudwara in proper form and made the area near the gurudwara plain after filling ups the digs and planting trees and plants. He also built the Langar hall in the Gurudwara Tibbi Sahib where langar is served 24 hours a day daily.

Several Guru Ji’s set their foot here for a rest. In this Gurudwara, there is a car that was gifted to the saints of this gurudwara by Sardar Anoop Singh (Ma. LLB Visvedar) from Patiala.

Wahe Guru ji. Very clean and peaceful place like every gurudwara . Come here and spent some time under the shadow of Shri Tibbi sahib Ji. Gurudwara situated at the bank of Satluj river . Some scenic view for photogenic people.
