On the way to Jammu from Kolkata we had food from here and the food was very good.

the station is very clean..you will get the trains to every city..you can get taxi nd public transport from outside the station very easily.

Very clean and systematic railway station. The rest rooms are in a good condition. You can buy magazines, novels, snacks etc inside the premise itself. The condition of Kanpur Central has become better in the recent years.

Grt stoppage before entering delhi for trains from east side
It has 9platforms (also the 10th one is bit fr away)
There are approx 3-4 small stoppage near it.
Grt area it has two opening (one towards kanpur central or city, other is khown as ghanta ghar side(9th platform))
Ticket booking is available both side
Rest sapace is available both side.
Kanpur metro will be connected to 9th platform side(it's under construction now)

For any destination in bihar almost u will get train from here. In interval of 2-3 hour.

Each Train passing through this station stops here for various minutes.
There is huge seating area at this station and have 9 platforms to divide the crowd and halts for different Trains.
This Station has different sides exit i.e One side of the platform is Cantt Side exit and another side is City side exit. Even if someone wants to stay at this station there is a facility available of Dormitory, Single Bed Rooms, Double Bed Rooms etc. You can book this at Railway Station on Cantt side with your PNR number or you can book it online..

Very important junction station , from here catch train for New Delhi , lucknow allahabad jhansi and more.
Many public conveniences available for free like mobile charging, mens toilet, water etc.

Very well maintained junction. The premises is very clean and hygienic. There are multiple food stalls across the platforms so don't need to worry about your stop up snacks. The best thing is "chai" Tea of kanpur central, if you train ever stops here, do taste the tea once it's the best. I still remember when I was traveling with my friends our train had a stopage in Kanpur, it was about 1:30 am and we bought the tea, that feeling was so good and the taste of that tea was mind blowing.

Kanpur Central has undergone a beautification and modernisation effort in recent years, especially following the inclusion of the station in the "50 World-Class Railway Stations" budget, which sought to modernise Indian railway stations, by former Minister of Railways Mamata Banerjee.

Passenger-friendly amenities, easy and convenient ways to cross platforms through FOBs and underpasses, heritage main building, humble and co-operative staff.
Platform 9 is directly connected to the city, while platform 1 opens towards cantonment side. All platforms are well connected by foot over bridges on both sides. It has one more platform at the jhansi end, named as platform 10.
