This station connect burdwan with howrah, rampurhat, durgapur, masagram, bolpur upto agartala. This is an important railway station of Eastern Railway. You can get each and every facilities near the station premises in walking distances. This station also have upper class waiting room, retiring room. Retiring room is very clean and very spacious with ac facility in just 285 rupees for 12 hours which is very cheap according to the price, quality, space. You can easily book this retiring room via irctc or you can also avail spot booking with your pnr no. Staying in this retiring room is highly recommended. Water facility is there.

This is one of the most important junction station in eastern railway connecting Howrah Asansol Katwa and Rampurhat from 3 different direction. Many express train halts here. Clean tidy platforms with water and food available in each 8 platform. Wide flyover with escalator is very convenient. Multiple counters to buy ticket easily. The station is big but very crowded ... there are facility of escalator which is very good ...The toilets are neat & clean & well maintained... So many stalls of different types of foods and drinks are there ... Rpf are all time there ... Every possible services are there....

It's a railway junction. One of the busiest railway station. Vande Bharat express also passes through. Good halting station. Use of escalator is a good sign of a busiest station. Ticket counter is also huge but a little bit dirty and always a bad smell in the station's climate.

A busy railway station with all the business in a structural format. Arrangements are also very perfect. Above all which is most important is very clean and tidy toilet.

Bardhaman Junction Railway Station (Station code: BWN) is a railway junction station on the Howrah–Delhi main line and is located in Purba Bardhaman District in the Indian state of West Bengal. EMU services from Howrah along Howrah–Bardhaman main line and Howrah–Bardhaman chord terminate at Bardhaman. It serves Bardhaman, the third most populous city in West Bengal.
Electrification of Howrah–Burdwan main line was completed with 25 kV AC overhead system in 1958. Earlier, electrification started (on the Howrah–Bandel sector) with 3 kV DC overhead system in 1953.

The Howrah–Bardhaman chord was electrified in 1964–66.[6]Bardhaman–Katwa line was electrified in 2014 (up to Balgona) and 2018 (up to Katwa jn)

Long distance Express trains also stops here towards Delhi, Mumbai, Bihar.
