Beautiful Shiv Mandir built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Temple has historic story. This Shiv Mandir is my Kuldaivat.. There is Sateri devi mandir next to this temple.

Situated deep within the heart of the town Achara, it is a temple of lord Rameshwar worshipped and highly regarded by the locals. Everything carved in this temple is the work of locals some 600 years ago even before the time of Shivaji. Gavpalne is a tradition that is followed here every five years and during this time, the villagers have to reside outside the village. The entire village of Achara has been a gift from Shambhaji Raje, the son of Shivaji to the temple trust or Devastaan. Rameshwar temple has a great political as well as devotional backup and is one of the most influential authorities of the area.

One of the historic temple located in Kandalgaon near malvan. It's a temple of lord Shiva. Few theories shows that this place was build by King Shivaji Maharaj while they were working on the construction of Sindhudurg Fort. The many years old big tree of pimpal is there exact in front of temple which is plant by King Shivaji Maharaj when the visited the temple. Big statue of Shivaji Maharaj is also there! Also there is Tulja bhavani temple adjacent to it....it's historical as people say original idol was once brought here by RANE's for worship eventually it was installed back to its original location in Tuljapur

Located in the state of Tamil Nadu, the Rameshwar Temple is a magnificent shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Being one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, it is a highly revered temple among the devotees. This temple consists of the longest corridor among all the Hindu temples in the country. The outer surface of the temple is covered in very delicate and intricate carvings, which surely add another dimension to the experience of this temple. An excellent example of meticulous engineering, the symmetry, and design of the temple is magnificent.

Rameshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva, and the temple premises house two different Shivalingas. One of these lingams is believed to have been built by Goddess Sita herself, while the other is believed to have been brought by Lord Hanuman from the Kailash Mountain.

It is a historic temple built in 16th century. Its chief interest is the approach about 250 yards long, cut through rock fifty feet deep. The idol, a four-armed figure seated on a bull, is of solid silver said to weigh a hundred kilograms and is in good condition at present. It's peaceful place and the architecture is colorful. The architectural patterns of the temple building shows that it has been expanded at least three times from its establishment
