Outstanding place in Upper Pelling to get a view of the mighty Kanchundzonga. Very close to the helipad is a government watch tower that offers 360 degree view.
The helipad is now getting crowded by hotels which is not good for viewing nature.
One can get beautiful views of the Skywalk Buddha statue lit during sunset.

This is the place from where you can have the magnificent view of Kanchanjangha. It's beauty is heavenly, I think beyond words. You can have 360° view from this place.

View from helipad is amazing. If the weather is not foggy you can see kanchanjangha very clearly. If you are lodging in lower or middle pelling you can view kanchajangha from from roof also.

The whole range can be seen from here if there is no fog in the morning time from 5.30 to 6.30 or more.There is no helipad currently but an under construction of ropeway to the skywalk of Pelling.

Pelling helipad ground is now under construction (visited last December 2022). You can see the Chenrezig Temple from there. The new ropeway project from Chenrezig Temple to Helipad ground is running..the short trekking route from upper Pelling football ground to helipad ground is very adventurous at evening.

Very nice place of upper pelling. Nice view and calm place. Appropriate place for hangout with kids and family for sometime.

We reached there by walking a near about 1.5 kilometer. The police check post was on the way. Not so crowdy tourist spot is this but people use to visit here as a sightseeing. One can also drive a car there. The main attraction of this place is just as a Kanchanjagha view point.

Amazing place. You will experience Breath taking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga from here. Sunrise is so beautiful.Love to visit this place again and again. Many hotels are there.

The view of Kanchenjunga from the Pelling helipad during the clear weather was just awesome. You will remain the memories of the first morning and sunrise view from that point lifetime.

Its less heliport & more view point to see around 360 degree from here. you may need to wait for 40 min to see helicopter landing. Because it takes 20 min to reach Gangtok & comeback here.
