ChukkiMane - Village Resort

We went to the Chukkimane resort last week for a family outing. As soon as we entered we were welcomed by lush greenery.
Breakfast and lunch was tasty . Mr.Sanjay explained to us about the resort and nature.
Bird watching and bullock cart ride, playing in the river these activities were enjoyed by all age groups.
Overall it was a wonderful experience and such a polite and helpful staff.
Cottages were neat n spacious.
I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful little oasis of nature full of birds and butterflies and unusual but well kept guest houses. Was a pleasure to visit along with my dog who loved it too. Great food and lovely people. My best to Sanjay 🙏

Excellent place. VERY pet-friendly. I had a very nice stay there. The cottages are spacious and well maintained. Service is very friendly and the food is excellent (expert cook). Highly recommended for families. Kids will have a great time there.

Fantastic experience with nature! Great homely food, rustic accomodation! Reminded me of the fun I had as a kid in grandma's place. Sanjay is very knowledgeable about the location and the birds!

Its such a peaceful place to stay for a calm going vacation !! Full of greenary and different types of trees. Very organic. I learnt about some of the trees. Chef MR. Rajesh is the one i would like to appreciate more here because the stay made me feel even better because of the food made by him. Excellent, wonderful & god gifted chef. A perfect getaway from the city rush. For people who are looking for an ultra calm and serene environment. Don't look for too many activities in and around this area. If your goal is for a chilled out weekend with mother nature, this is the place. Well designed and clean rooms and also pet friendly.

I came here from RLC with my teachers and friends. The environment and nature was so calming and beautiful. I learnt about permaculture and various different plants and their benefits. The rooms were in a very unique kind of architecture, and extremely clean. The location was far away from the busy and polluted environment of a city. We got to bike on cycles through farms and fields, ride on a bullock cart. The ride was very adventurous. The food is organic the ingredients are grown at Chukkimane itself. There was a bonfire too! I enjoyed stargazing the most. This was a very memorable trip for me with my friends. I didn't even feel like going back to my home in the city! Thank you Chukkimane for providing this amazing experience to enjoy the village and nature.

We visited this place with family for a weekend getaway from Bangalore. We fell in love with this place. This place is surrounded with loads of trees and plants and they give you a vibe of a Jungle Resort. They are pet friendly too. Our little Shih Tzu had a nice time.

The family cottage was a nice cozy place with an attic having 2 large size beds at the attic and 2 large size beds on the ground floor. The rooms were kept neat and were provided with clean bedsheets and blanket.

Food: Only Vegetarian food
The food was just amazing. A message for all those who visit this place.. Everything that's served in all 3 meals were super delicious. Thanks to the very gifted chef RAJESH.

Basawaraju had taken good care of us during our stay and had been a really good tour guide during our Bullock cart ride. That reminded me to mention that the itinerary also is inclusive of Bullock cart ride, Village Visit, visit to the nearest waterfalls (Gaganachukki falls), Camp Fire, Night walk, early morning Bird watching

Last but not the least, A big thanks to Sanjay ( property owner) who personally meets his guests and make sure that they are feeling comfortable. He had accompanied us for our early morning Bird watching and explained to us about the different kind of birds that can be seen near this place. Thank you for being a great host.

A must visit place to get away from the Hustle & Bustle of the cities. This place is very nostalgic and reminds us about our good old childhood days.

The best nature friendly...eco resort or home stay near gaganachukki falls area.
This was made for purpose. Learning about Nature, trees, butterflies, birds ... very nice food and a friendly atmosphere.
Nature lovers and family can spend lovely time here.

amazing experience, the rooms were tidy and the bed was comfortable. the food was amazing the cuisine was delicious and yummy. the bullock cart ride was golden and the pool was great. we had a nice swim. the info on permaculture was good, we feel we are right on tracks and know well about permaculture rn. thanks for a wonderful event chukki mane

The village house experience, walking through the farms while inhaling supremely pure air, the beautiful Cauvery river, the bird watching in the morning, the camp fire and night drive for star gazing etc. are priceless experiences we will cherish.

My friends and I came from RLC to chukki mane. The experience surpassed all my expectations. A day away from the city hustle and bustle was truly refreshing. We got to cycle through the villages and experienced the true serenity of nature. The lakes and the overall environment was extremely pure. I enjoyed star gazing a lot!. The home stay facilities and the staff were very knowledgeable and cooperative. Overall it was an experience i’ll remember for a very long time.

It was an amazing experience. My friends and I had come from RLC, and all the activities were very well planned out. The owner, Sanjay sir, was very knowledgeable and told us a lot about nature. The villagers who took us to the riverside were also very friendly

Chukkimane is an eco-tourism enterprise run by Mr. Sanjay and his family with the assistance of a wonderful set of staff from the locality.

I came to Chukkimane looking for a birding experience and weaver bird nesting spots and boy did I find it!

All thanks to Mr. Sanjay who is something of an expert on many topics amongst which birding and conservation happens to be his passion and forte. He personally assisted in helping me spot the birds, while also sharing considerable knowledge regarding their nesting habits.

It was a treat for me dear sir, super grateful for what you have shared, that being your knowledge and expertise regarding these birds without which I would probably have never had seen them or capture them on camera.

The cabins are really well maintained, with power-backup, a shower, warm water on request, internet connectivity was also decent (airtel). The beds were comfortable.

The area surrounding the space is so rich in natural flora and fauna. Ideal for those who wish to get away from the city and work/relax in a scenic location surrounded by nature. There is much to see and experience if you have an open heart for life in a village and if scenic locations and waterfalls are your thing that's also close by.

Amazing place to experience.. went there with zero expectations and pleasantly came out with very good feeling.

Accommodation, cottage provided is very good, felt a bit air ventilation is required especially during summer, but rooms are spacious and kids enjoy multi level bedding concept.

Resort overall is full green and lots of vegetation including mangoes, simply amazing, including cleanliness and sanitization.

Food is pure south Indian vegetarian and simply amazing, fresh from kitchen and local procurement. Lot of home made stuff and they serve with lots of love, respect.

They arrange for bullock cart ride and cauvery river bath if interest.

Early morning they take for bird watching which is simply amazing, they take lots of interest in explaining various breeds..

Overall amazing 1 (overnight) stay with them, will surely plan for more in future.

A pure veg, pet friendly, rustic place, that is in the lap of nature. You are surrounded by fruit trees, at least 24 varieties, you eat excellent organic food straight from their kitchen garden, that is not oily, and is super healthy. If you are a birder, you can see the birds in the picture in the resort itself. The team led by Rajesh is super friendly. There are lots of places to see nearby, some beautiful waterfalls, and temples.
