The inside is even more beautiful, it's a quiet place where you can sit and spend some time in peace. Only one of the side doors open during the weekdays. There's plenty of parking spaces in the front yard as well.

This Church is located in Virajpete, 30 to 35 kms away from Madikeri. This has the best Architecture in anybof the Church in Kodagu district. For the people who wants their photoshoot to be done, this place is also recomended in Kodagu tour. Cristmas celebration is quite normal here..

(230 years old church).One of the oldest Church in India which was built in 1792 and stands as a symbol of Coorg’s secular tradition, the church is in the European and Gothic style architect, interiors and statues decorated from the bible.
Once the church was entirely destroyed in 1811 and completely reconstructed in 1868, it is 180 feet high which resembles a giant candle, Father Gullivan was took supervision for the whole construction of the Church. The Church has two ancient massive bells still working and in use till date, the church was renovated recently in the year 2014.

One of the must visit church in Coorg or virajpet. The church is surrounded by the school and college premises. Every nook and corner is kept clean and tidy. Being one of the oldest and we'll known place. And very well worshipped place. No need off location to visit this place just visit virajpet and look at the top of sky, from every place you can locate this by your own eyes. Onces again il give 5 stars for this holy sacred church in Coorg. Thank you.
