I recently had the pleasure of visiting the magnificent Erarrayar Church and Higher Secondary School, located near St. Thomas Forance. I must say, this historic and awe-inspiring establishment left a lasting impression on me. The combination of its grandeur, beautiful statues, and impressive architectural design makes it a true marvel.

As soon as you approach the church, you are greeted by a sense of tranquility and reverence. The towering structure stands proudly, adorned with intricate details and captivating sculptures. The sheer number of statues within the premises is truly remarkable, showcasing the rich cultural and religious heritage that this place holds.

Stepping inside, you are welcomed by a serene ambiance that instantly envelops you. The interior of the church is breathtaking, with high ceilings, stunning stained glass windows, and meticulously crafted artwork. Adjacent to the church is the Erarrayar Higher Secondary School, adding another layer of significance to this location. The beautiful church situated at the heart of Erattayar town. Every 2 Holy masses are being offered. One in the morning @ 6. 15 am and the other in the evening @ 05.15 pm. It is one among the biggest Forane Churches of the Eparchy of Diocese of Idukki. On Sunday Holy masses are being offered. Every Friday the Holy Mass procession are also being held in the evening @ 5.30 pm. Once you visited here, it will remain as a remarkable Church in your heart.

When you are coming from elappara route better to take the google suggested route after kanchiyar as it saves lot of time and distance .It is highly visible on the main road .Quite big church
