Wilde Cafe is a delightful spot located in Anakkal, Palakkad ,near the Malampuzha Dam reservoir, making it a convenient stop for those traveling to Kava Island or the dam reservoir. The cafe stands out for its ambiance and the spectacular view it offers of the Malampuzha Dam. This alone makes it a great place to unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the area.One of the main highlights of Wilde Cafe is the stunning view from the dining area. The cafe’s design allows you to enjoy this view while savoring your coffee or a light meal. For those who need to get some work done, the high tables are perfect for setting up a laptop, so you can work while enjoying the picturesque surroundings. The aesthetic photo points around the cafe, which are ideal for both day and night photography, add to its charm, making it an excellent spot for friends and couples to capture beautiful memories.The cafe operates on a self-service model, which complements its relaxed and informal vibe. While the food might not be its strongest point—it was average or slightly above during my visit—this could be because the cafe was still in its early stages when I visited. Some construction was ongoing in the valley below the cafe, and this might have impacted the overall experience.Wilde Cafe is particularly preferable for bikers, as there isn’t a dedicated parking area for cars, and the road in front of the cafe is on a slope, which can make parking tricky. Despite these minor inconveniences, the cafe’s stunning view and relaxed atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the serene beauty of Malampuzha Dam.Whether you’re passing through on a bike or just looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy the scenery, Wilde Cafe is a charming and convenient choice. While the food might improve as the cafe becomes more established, the view and ambiance alone make it a place worth visiting.

An amazing discovery!

This cafe is really good for nature lovers who wish to enjoy the scenic beauty of the catchment area of Malampuzha Dam along with a hot cup of coffee/tea and snacks.

We often visit Kava because of lush greenery and sometimes become lucky to spot a group of wolf or even elephants. The aura of Kava is indefinable. I would recommend monsoon time as it's my personal favourite to enjoy the misty view along with the movement of clouds.

This time when I visited, I saw a few human activities enroute and this cafe being one of them which caught my attention. It's strategically placed overlooking the catchment area.

I highly recommend this cafe to all as there is hardly anything available in the vicinity.
