Eastern most metro station of Kolkata metro station which is newly built & boon for many travellers like me & also time-saving. It's in the heart of Dakshineswar beside the famous Dakshineswar temple. There's a skywalk connecting the rail station, metro station & temple as well. It's open all time & one can easily access it any time. Here are some glimpses of the newly inaugurated & architectural marvel of Dakshineswar metro station.

Very well maintained and nice place. Just beside the metro station. Try to visit before 9 in the morning, to avoid crowds. Use the skywalk, you will be amazed. You need to deposit your shoes before entering (they will take 3 Rs) and your phone (3 Rs each phone and if along with bag the 9 Rs).

The metro station is clean and well maintained. This is a very important metro station which links the famous Dakshineswar temple of Kolkata to the rest of the Kolkata city. You can take the skywalk from here to visit the magnificent Dakshineswar temple. Only the public toilet area beside the metro station needs a bit more upgradation.

Great travel for pilgrims to visit the temple .
The Dakshineswar Metro Station is about 300 meters from the temple complex. The metro station is located adjacent to the Dakshineswar Rail station of the Indian Railways and the temple's skywalk which provide a better passway to temple.

The metro station is very nice. There is a lift for adults. Also very nicely arranged. There is an escalator. In addition to the inside of the metro station, there is also an escalator on the way out. And very close to Dakshineswara temple. After leaving the station, take the skywalk and proceed to the temple of Dakshineswar.
