One of the best place for spices and chocolates in all Thekkady market. Price is moderate and quality of spices and other products is very well.The staff was very helpful and helped with all our queries. Would definitely recommend to visit if looking for a variety of authentic spices.

Excellent plants, knowledgeable guides and very interesting trip. At the shop, you get farm fresh spices and Ayurvedic medicines. Medicines are expensive but effective. We purchased hair oil, fat reducing medicine. Both are worthy.

It's a Semi Government spice garden which has almost all rich spices and medicine plants.

The staff is well trained to explain the pros of every key plant but looks like their end motto is to attract customers.

Undoubtedly they have quality products but when I checked most of the ayurveda medicines were prepared somewhere else and marketed by Periyar, which was disappointing factor.

Overall local tea, cardamom and clove were found to be good.

I m using a hair oil for reducing/cintrolling grey hair which is working to control for sure but need to wait to see results for grey reversal after 3 months of usage .

A perfect place for someone who is curious for knowledge.
All types of spices and medicinal plants are available .
At end last you also have an option for purchasing these spices .

This was definitely a great place to stop by the way. They charge you an entry fee and then give you a walk through the spices and their benefits and all of this also sounds very exciting and interesting. They also indirectly advertise their products which you will feel very tempted to buy and use. I too did buy a few. Lets see how they work. Overall its a god place to stop.

Entry fees is Rs.100/person (include one guide to describe about spices & ayurveda plants).
Then after visiting shop for purchase of any items.

I visited Periyar Spice &Ayurvedic Garden, it was a wonderful experience for all of us. All the staffs and guides are very friendly.I bought Neelibringadhikeram oil for my hair, within 2 weeks my hairfall stopped and new baby hairs are coming.

Very nice location to visit, calm atmosphere, get knowledge about medicines and spices. I purchased medicines and some spices. My guide was also customer friendly. She knows multiple languages. Online purchasing are also avilable here. I will come againn.Good luckk👍🏻

I bought kumkumadi thailam from Periyar Spice Garden, for my dark circles. Within 2-3 time usages, i feel the difference. I bought farm fresh spices and medicine for joint pain also. All are good products. 👍👍

This is one of good expirients, I baught good quality spices from there, and so much ayurvedic medicines are there. It's a nice garden with a entry ticket of 100rs.There we got a guide who explains about the medicinal plants and spices. After that ,they have a shop where we got the Ayurvedic medicine and farmfresh spices. The Ayurvedic medicines are 100% effective.

One should go there with family...to show their children what is pure spices and it's benefits. The guide is so intelligent . He told the secrets of spice market and how to detect the original .

A perfect place for someone who is curious of all types of spices and medicinal plants.I am a BP patient, and I used "Panchamooli ", a liquid like medicine ,for 3 months continuously. My pressure levels are normal, Now I am not taking any Medicine for BP .Products are good..

It is very informative and interesting place to learn about spices and Ayurveda. The Ayurvedic medicines are worthy. I used their Satavarigulam, all my women related problems are solved. We get ayurvedic medicines for all our problems. Must visit garden.
