It's very old restaurant on NH66 highway in Rajapur. It's best for non veg food lover. Fish & chicken thali recommended

Looks doubtful from the outside. This place is hidden due to the bridge. Food is excellent, very friendly staff. We ate mutton masala, chicken hundi. Chapatis were nice. Everything seemed fresh and tasty.

Great place for lunch/ dinner. Tasty food.Fresh fish. Highly recommend surmai and chicken thali. Reasonable and great quality. Would definately visit again.

Unexpectedly came here for dinner and had a pleasure of having excellent food .

We visited hotel bit late in the afternoon. We were family of 10+ adults and kids and very hungry. Hotel was little bit crowded so they took some time to arrange the tables for our big family. Till that time they took our food order ahead.
The hotel look like typical old looking khanawal and bit darker. So we were bit conscious about food and quality so we ordered limited quantity.
We ordered Veg Thali, chicken malwani handi, bhakari and prawns koliwada. Once they served the food it smelled tempting and looked delicious.
Food was very tasty and well cooked. So we repeated the order with proper quantity.
Hotel staff and owner was very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and prompt.

Overall if you are in Rajapur and want tasty food then must visit Hotel Saraswati.

We visited Saraswati hotel over last weekend as a group of 14 people. We were travelling on Mumbai-Goa highway and were looking for a decent place for lunch. And there we found this gem.
This place is quite clean. Staff is very friendly and food quality is amazing. We ordered 14 chicken thalis and they didn't disappoint us at all. Fresh food and friendly atmosphere made our visit a moment in remember.

Almost more than 5 years ago+ I have Ben visiting this place.

while driving through lanja to Kankavli I visited this place. Wooden infrastructure and most importantly clean washroom was there.

We tried their Chicken Thali, Mutton Thali and fish thali asked for fish fry.
In thali they served Chicken Rassa, Chicken Sukkha Tandalachi bhakri and solkadhi

We took Fish Thali and Mutton Thali
Loved the taste.. specially Chapatis were so soft.
Also if they would have provided bhakaris..it would have tasted more tasty

We visit the place very often and always come away totally satisfied. The rates are very affordable and according to the prices, the food is great. Its not a fancy place, its basic really and i agree that the masalas are not very varied but its always fresh. I would recommend Surmai Thali.
Extremely friendly atmosphere, with the owner himself coming over and helping choose from the menu.
Guys this is a treat for people who are keen to have good kokan food and that too at quiet affordable rates....!!!
