It was an amazing stay we have ever had. Very clean, hygenic, specious room. They have room heater and good parking zone. You can view mountains directly from the room. The hosts are very humble and friendly. They served homely food as per our choice. The owner is a polite and helpful person. He had arranged a cab for us for day trip to Narkanda. Only chalenge is to reach the place, which is little off road in the last 700 meter. They need to update the Google location.

Stayed here for only a couple of days, beautiful view, away from the main town. Peaceful. Really enjoyed the stay, the owner is an amazing person, and the place feels like home. stay here if you want a peaceful retreat, really amazing and fresh home prepared food also available!!

Very very NICE wooden Furnished COTTAGE ESSILY APPORCHABLE Amazing & Beautiful green hills with in the Apple Garden . It was clean comfortable and had good food. restaurant was very good .great location for the Shimla experience this resort has an advantageous location and can visit chail, kuffriNaldehra , Narkanda& Shimla

First about Fagu, you should come to this place if you want some peace and want to stay away from the overly crowded and awfully commercial places like Shimla.

Now about Saaket Home Stay:

Kailash Ji is a very good host, the view from the place is quite scenic, the home stay is affordable but the best, most awesome, absolutely out of this world part about staying at this particular home stay is the food (and I am not even a foodie!!!).

If you stay in some metro city or even a smaller city in the plains then you would be astounded at the quality and the purity of the vegetables and the ingredients.

Even the onion and tomato in the salad felt so fresh as if they were freshly plucked. (A side note: you can also pluck the apples from the trees if you go in the months of July and August.)

Kailash Ji has 2 cows and a calf (take a look at the pics), and since these cows graze in the picturesque and pollution free environs of Himachal, you would easily be able to tell the difference when you consume any dairy product. I could definitely tell because the Kheer was so delicious that I wanted to stay a day longer just because of that and if I come back to that place, it would be because at times I salivate just at the memory of having that kheer.

If you have seen Ratatouille and can recall the scene in which the food critic gets transported to his childhood because of the amazing dish prepared by Remy, the Rat, that kheer had the same kind of effect on me (I am no snobbish food critic, but it is hard to find that kind of food because of the pollution and the adulteration in nearly everything from milk to rice to all the vegetables).

So do yourself a favour, visit Fagu, visit Saaket Home Stay, have the amazing food (specially the kheer) and make memories for a lifetime.

A wonderful place to spend your holidays, outside of the monotony of horn sound and pollution. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Kailash ji is a great host and very friendly person. His wife cooks delicious food would love to come back, PS the only can is the path leading to the cotage. It's very easy. If some one wants a quite short holiday 3-4days. Rahi is the best place to visit.

Excellent since beauty surrounded by apple Orchard . This is the best place to enjoy snowfall.The Home Stay is located on side the road side.This is a good property to stay. If wish to relax in Peace. You can enjoy the jungle track that lead to Maa Bhagwati Kali maa temple located uphill.all in alla great vocation and I would love to stay here again& again.👌.
