MYSURU PUPPET THEATRE

We are a Puppet Company from Italy/France and we had a wonderful time with Sachin and the other Mysuru puppeteers ! We had the chance to see one of their performances, very well played, with fine puppet movements and rhythm. We really enjoyed the performance. They run the company with passion and real reflection about theatre, tradition and modern days.
Also, they are excellent puppet makers, woodcarving - sewing - painting their own characters.

One of the best puppet show theatre in Mysore, very informative and entertaining. Not very costly, feels like home. They have set it up very traditionally. Best for kids and family. You can even get knowledge of purana katha. They play shows related to mythological stories like Ramaya, Mahabharata.

A humble effort to preserve the vanishing art

It is a magnificent puppet show with traditional artists. Reminded me of my childhood days in my village. Its great to see the grand old tradition of karnataka being kept alive with its true essence not compromised a bit. Great job by Srikantha, thank you🙏

Excellent show put up by Srikanth and his team. A must must for kids! In today's age where the children are addicted to the virtual world, these puppetry shows create a new world with beautiful puppets, live music and dialogues with a touch of rich history. Its a feast to the eyes and ears to watch these shows. Time well spent! May the tribe increase 👏👏👏👏 Kudos to the entire team. A must visit during visit to Mysore.

Wonderful puppet show. Very well organised. Srikantha has inherited the traditional puppetry from his great grand father hence he has a deep knowledge about this ancient art form. After the show he took us to his workshop and showed how he creates the puppets.
A brilliant and amazing experience for me and my son.

Excellent show by Srikantha and team, it was a second time for us and kids loved it. After the show Srikantha takes keen interest in explaining the art's background and puppet making to everyone, a must visit to this theatre.
