Cafe UUTOPIA

It was a good experience. We had booked for 6 people but only 4 of us made it. Maybe because of that the service was rather slow. But the food was amazing. The sea food platter served in a 'murram' was very good. Their kallappam was also excellent. One misunderstanding that happened was that the server told us that the starter chicken ding dong was not spicy but it was quite spicy. We had kids with us and they could not have it. The price is also slightly high.

The food was sumptuous in a serene atmosphere. Enjoyed with family on a great Sunday. It was my daughter's Birthday 🎊🎂🎊 celebration with all siblings and family members. The hospitality was really remarkable, will surely recommend and we too come here again and again. Best Wishes to Ms. Abhirami & the Team

Thou difficult to reach , located in the remote side of panangad, uutopia captivates with the serenity of the place , its carefully done garden scape and some sumptuous food from their thadiyan chef .. Be ready to take your time, indulge in some leisure talks over some excellent food varieties in an open dining . Kallappam, prawns dynamite, angamali prawns curry deserves special mention. It was heartening to see the owner walking around and communicating with guest even though the place has become an iconic restocafe.. Will be back soon for more.. Cheers..

This underrated cafe in Panangad, Kochi, is a hidden gem. I love it for its pleasing ambiance with a nature vibe and great views. The food is of good quality, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it for hanging out with friends and family, offering a wonderful atmosphere and great vibes.

Best spot for small parties, get-together or a team lunch. We ordered chicken soup, Paal Kappa with beef ribs, paal porota with chicken, Sulaimani, and Tiramisu.

Food was so tasty 🤤😋 and we really loved it. The quantity was so good and we are so satisfied. They have a variety of menus and the price is not much overrated

Tucked away in a remote area, Café UUTOPIA offers a delightful experience with good food, a captivating ambiance, and commendable service. The café’s exterior is beautifully treated with plants and small trees, creating a green and serene atmosphere. Despite being in a rural location, the trip is well worth it!

As a vegetarian, I appreciated the decent options available, and the staff were even willing to customize a few dishes. We started with Uutopian Fritters, which were quite nice, and the Caesar salad was also impressive. The Paneer Kizhi sizzler was a bit spicy but good, and the breads (Kallappam, Chapathi, and Porotta) were all well-prepared. The Passion Uutopia mocktail was a refreshing highlight.

The café is set back from the main road, providing a sense of privacy and seclusion, with a superb view facing the lake. The food was delicious and well worth the price, especially considering the serene setting. While the location may be a bit challenging to reach due to its distance from the city and winding roads, the ambiance and quality of the food make it a gem worth visiting.

Food was amazing. Myself from Trivandrum. had an experience such an awesome food. The menu is out of the world and has explanation of all the dishes and then we were waiting for our food ,ambience in the cafes next level. Speaking about the ambience of the cafe, it is truly a utopia. The ideas images over the swings that represents itself near the lake is such a beauty that we forget we are actually waiting for our ordered food.

The food was worth the wait and the distance we travelled to have and it was such a heart filler.

I would like to share the most memorable restaurant visit I have had. Café Utopia is quickly becoming my favorite food spot in Kochi.

The exterior of the café is treated with plants and small trees, creating a captivating greenery and lighting ambience. We were fortunate to secure seats in a calm area for our dinner visit.

We tried their highly recommended dishes, including the pal porotta (both chicken and beef), fried rice, and several signature dishes, accompanied by mojitos and sulaimani (black tea). Each item carried an exceptional taste, making it difficult to choose a favorite.

The pricing is moderate, and the staff's behavior is commendable. The café's location by the Vembanad Lake provides a beautiful view while dinning.The café's location, set back from the main road, provides a sense of privacy and seclusion.

Parking space is available for a limited number of cars and bikes. Overall, it was an amazing experience for my family and me, and we will undoubtedly return to try more of their delectable offerings.

The food, service and ambience was perfect but only thing is it was located in a far remote area. Roads were not that good ,but after reaching the place it was relaxing. They had a limited menu. But I was not able to find anything perfect for me from the menu. So asked about getting stew or similar item. After a discussion they told they will prepare stew for us. It was not on the menu, so I was afraid whether it was a worse decision . But after getting the food my mind changed. The preparation was heavenly . Beef stew tasted too good and kallapam with beef stew is a must try combo. I really want them to add beef stew to their menu.
And coming to the service, the boys were too friendly , they wanted to know whether we are satisfied with the food. And asked us about more suggestions too.

Excellent setting for an excellent treat.. Had the paal kappa with beef, paal paratha with beef.. Both highly recommended. The kallappam and konju angamaly curry were brilliant. Puttu was good and the deserts were alright. Stuffed to the brim with happiness and content.. 🙂

We visited in Aug 10/24, wow !!! great food man. We got surprised, when we received our bill…we had almost 7 items including KK, dum porotta,beef steak, soup, 2 starters and drinks. All these item’s cost was less than 5000/-.
On top of that, vibe of the place and the feel of the place are fabulous ✨

A very good place to spend some quality time with your loved ones. The atmosphere and ambience is good in the evening but most beautiful at night. The food is a bit expensive when compared to other cafes, but their service and food quality is worth the reservations are accepted also pre-booking for small functions are also accepted

What an ambience wow!
We came here for lunch and enjoyed the whole place to ourselves for 30 mins. The staff is professional and kind, and the food was really good with rates matching to normal prices. The portion size is quite big and every dish tastes authentically different.
The drinks were refreshing we recommend their coffee, lime soda and the ginger ice tea. For food we recommend Pala Porotha with Beef and the beef roast with appam.

I wish the staff more success and we hope the standards are kept the same 😇🙌

Awesome food and equally good ambience. Service is also good. Food preparation took some time but it was worth the wait. Restroom available and clean
One suggestion is to try moving away from providing water in plastic bottles to glass water bottles, which would add to the eco friendliness of the place

Done up very nicely, not too expensive by kochi standards and you can definitely pay a price for the Brilliant ambience.

Also the food menu curation is epic whoever did it.

Putt urumees, paal porotta are must try items. Beef fry, beef roast, mushroom curry, are excellent.
