Ambuja Cement Plant Suli is erected in the Darlaghat town of Solan district in Himachal Pradesh. It is a cement grinding mill established in 1995 with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of cement. The Manufacturing Products of the company are Ambuja Cement, Cool Walls, Buildcem, Powercem, Alccofine and so on. The power plant is owned by ACL Limited and is a private establishment. The status of the plant is fully operational. The major shareholders of the plant are ACL (with nearly 54%) and Holcim Group (with nearly 46%). The Holcim group, which is the second leading cement manufacturer around the globe has entered Indian market in 2006 for a strategic partnership with Ambuja Cement.
