Nitya cafe

It is the best best place to visit if you are in Palampur. Completely different experience. You will reach there by walk of 0.5 km. As you can not take your vehicles there because it is a restricted area. We walked through river, bamboo bridge. It is like a camp. Food there is also yummy. One can not go there in monsoon season because connectivity breaks due to river in between. We visited there in March. I think that is best time to visit and to enjoy the nature.

A hidden gem near the neugal river. This place is quite amazing and unique. The food is also very amazing. We tried wood oven baked pizza and noodles. This place is usually very quiet but sometimes may become crowded. The owner of the place Mr Happy is very friendly and corporative and helpful. The main unique thing about this place is it is away from hustle and bustle of the city. This place offers something for the all age groups. My 12 years old son enjoyed this place very much. This place is also ideal for people looking for ideal photos. This river alongside the cafe and natural waterfall is an attraction too. I will love to visit this place again if gets a chance and try their freshly baked veg pizza in wood fire. Reaching this place for the first time is slightly tricky because you need to cross the hydro project and show your ID card there but the way to Nitya café is well marked. The way leads to two options Solitude camp and Nitya café. The first one visible at hill top is Solitude camp and many first time visitors reach here by mistake. The Nitya café is slightly away and we only see it when we reach there.

Well.... the place has a vibe.... from those antlers on the wall to the viking painted on their scooter, beautiful murals, the guitar and of course the music... everything is great and creates a beautiful ambiance.

Loved the food....!! Especially the wholly handmade pizzas. You'll love it when you're sitting inside with your people.... vibing on the music and it's raining outside❤❤❤

An absolute gem at the base of the mountain. This should be a visiting attraction of Palampur on its own. You do a short hike from the hydro power project, cross the river and you arrive. It’s the highest (semi civilized) point in palampur, from where the trek to the waterfalls start. We went for a late hike to the waterfall and then came here to rest and eat pizzas.
It’s kind of a sports cafe or trekker’s retreat sorrounded by mountains. The cafe has a lot of open space , so you can enjoy the mountain breeze, chill in a hammock, drink a nice smoothie and admire the dhauladhar ranges and if you don’t feel like walking back to your place you can do a night halt here CAMPING!. Stay and food prices are quite reasonable if you are on a budget trip. You can also enquire here for treks across Himachal Pradesh.
Best time to go for me is sometime before sunset so you can watch the snow capped mountains turn orange as the sun sets!

Exceptional place for a deep-nature experience!

The owner, named 'Happy' is a lovely guy who can also take you hiking and arrange a very authentic local homestay.

Great art pieces to enjoy around, and deep conversations can be had with the other staff here too.

Highly recommended for real Himachal vibes!

Nitya Cafe in Palampur : A hidden gem surrounded by lush mountains, on Ava khad. If you want to enjoy the nature at its best, then this is the place for you. No mobile internet or signal, reception helps you to enjoy this place more. The art mural on the walls are pleasure to eyes. You can enjoy the view, gorge on delicious food and can indulge in some board games as well. Amazing place for having snacks and chilling out , loved the theme like all the things are selfmade.

The owners of this cafe are certified rescuers. Recommended place for adventureand nature lovers.

I had started my Hiking journey with Nitya & Team and trust me this has become now mandatory medicine for me. It's tough for me to spend my weekends without hiking. I had done more than 10+ treks with Nitya & Team. This is the perfect destination for Mountain lovers and people who belive in exploring nature and love trails. Further the team of Nitya is Amazing, hospitality and lot more.

Trust me this pandemic period they have made my life so relax that I can't express in words. Looking forward for new destinations and lot of hike together ❤

The vibe/atmosphere is fabulous... The food is average not bad the view from there is mesmerizing, a must visit cafe with friends or alone if you want some alone time and peace. Just a reminder: there is a 10-15 mins hike prefer shoes not heels

Really amazing Location.Need to trek 700 meter approx to reach the cafe which is so good but not for senior citizens and small kids.

One of the best places to hangout in Palampur, Nitya Cafe is my go to favourite place. I was in Palampur for January and I had a chance to be at this really beautiful cafe. Their food is fresh, delicious and they did took great care of my food allergies and vegan choices. Highlight of the cafe is Pluto the furry. Plus the bonfire nights are lit. Sandy the host is a wonderful person with a great knowledge about mountains. He is doing amazing with activities like workshops at his cafe and I totally loved it. I recommend Nitya cafe 100%
