Neugal Cafe

Have visited this Cafe since I was a young child.Had just some coffee and Chicken pakoda this time but enjoyed the snacks. Great ambience with a view of the mountains from the lawns outside. It was raining, else we usually sit in the well manicured lawn and enjoy a family outing next to the tiny stream outside.The roses were in full bloom so looked lovely. As usual enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful Cafe with breathtaking Dhauladhar in the background. The lawns are nicely maintained with provision for sitting and enjoying coffee & snacks while enjoying the scenic surroundings. One can also sit indoors in the cozy Resturant. A small stream of clear water adds to the ambiance of place which has some swings and slides for kids to enjoy. Staff is nice and courteous.
I have been a frequent visitor to this cafe for about a decade (1987-1996) when this place looked more magnificent and had more natural look as the water stream was not cemented and used to babble & ripple. Also there were no buildings around it this café. But this is one of the best place to visit and enjoy with family & friends as while reaching here one can see beautiful Tea gardens and also visit floriculture nursery maintained by IHBT, Palampur adjacent to it.

Awesome view. Pleasant atmosphere.polite staff. Good for kids.there is a lot of space for kids to enjoy. Food taste is also yummy. You can enjoy ur leisure time as well as u can go for a short meetings. The Manager mr.thakur is its self so much kind and helpful towards any query or if u need any solution. Over all great experience.must visit. 😍🙂

Located at an amazing place with breathtaking views of the dhauladhar range. The food was decent. The service was very quick. Not much crowded.
A very peaceful and nice cafe to chill and hangout with your family or friends.

To summarise - Great food and great views with amazing service. It being a HPTDC property, we had high expectations with it and it didn't let us down at all. You can't miss evenings here while sipping your coffee or a Beer, if you do take hard drinks. Another feather in the cap for HPTDC 😊😊

Very famous Himachal tourism cafe in Palampur. Just 2 km from Hotel Sarovar Portico.Nice place to hang out. Good climate... Open seating available.. Surrounded by mountains.Loved the climate here.My suggestion is to visit this place in the evening.A must visit in Palampur.

nice garden, efficient service and delicious fare. We tried the Himachali special Siddu; which was simply irresistible. We tried the tasty
vegetarian food as we had planned to visit a temple. The service is good, they recommend well. A small makeshift stream with a wee bridge and a raft plus the scenic views add volumes to the amazing experience at Neugal Cafe. They serve beer 🍺 roo.

Something I notice is that the making of the food is not hygienic and not clean
And the quantity of the food is very less

The food was super fresh and very yummy. Kadi and Paneer Burji are worth trying. Service is too good.

Staff is totally dedicated in services, management person guided us with local arra and suggested us too with good time idea's for our vacation.
I'll surely visit again.

A cold icy water canal going through cafe dip ur feets and enjoy moment having a cup of coffee in a hand 😄.

It was an enjoyable experience for us to sip coffee in the open gardens while the kids enjoyed boating.

Himachal Tourism hotel and cafe. They have 4 rooms. 2 on the ground floor & 2 on first floor. Nice lawn you can enjoy meals in the lawn.

You can book rooms through an online h.p govt website. Car Parking facility is available.

Tea gardens are very near to it. Pool , snooker, table tennis games are available in a cafe just adjoining to it.

Captain Vikram Batra, PVC (9 September 1974 – 7 July 1999) was an officer of the Indian Army, posthumously awarded with the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest and he used to come along with his girlfriend to this Cafe.

Most prestigious award for valour, for his actions during the 1999 Kargil War in Kashmir between India and Pakistan. He led one of the toughest operations in mountain warfare in Indian history. He was often referred to as ‘'Sher Shah'’ ("Lion King") in the intercepted messages of the Pakistan Army.

Now it has lost its aura. Service is very slow. You will see many waiters around you but nobody wil come to you even after calling. Govt. employee attitude, 😞.

Cafe's Interior inside and outside beautiful. Location is beautiful u can view hills.
Now Back to cafe's menu and taste.
Aswwsm Taste. Cafe also offer Drinks 🍻 U can drink and it will not showing cheap type. Neugal maintain its standard. Fast Order received.
