The Malnad Cafe and Eco Stay

I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. We spent almost an hour here and tried many recipes, most of which were unique and delicious. I will definitely visit again in the future.

Best restaurant in small village Banakal. Taste is good, locality is fine, easily visible to Highway. Maintenance of toilet is best, they are clean and tidy. Rates are reasonable and affordable. Overall the best restaurant in the locality to dine in, it decent and clean.

Good spot for a short break. Great food and quick service. Cafe is very clean. Highly recommended if you travel from Mangalore to Bangalore. Coffee is a must try.

Loved the place and the service of the place ample amount of parking and the food is tasty .
You can even buy organic coffee powder and variety of spices.

In a lush greenery a beautiful and neet lodging / stay.

Review about the restuarant - A good place to take a break while traveling from Mangalore or Udupi to Bangalore. Fresh and good food, good coffee. The girls working there are sweet too. Very clean toilets as well.

I had come for lunch. Had neer dose, Puliyogare, thuppa dose and French fries. Except thuppa dose, everything was very good. Fruit juices were also great and good service. Great place for lunch or snacks for vegetarians travelling along Bangalore to Horanaadu or surroundings.

Very tasty home made food. Neer dosa is delicious. Akki rotti is also good. The sides provided - veg curry and chutney are excellent. One must taste the filter coffee here. Parking is available in the front area.

On our way to Bangalore, we stopped here for quick lunch although its not a full fledged restaurant.
It's quick meal/snack kind of. They had enough tables and chairs both inside and outside but still on Sunday it was full.
We had Akki/Rice roti, Puliyogare and neer dosa. Chutney and some veg curry was provided along. Kids tried milkshakes. Taste and quality was good.
Very economically priced.
It was run by 3 ladies. Kudos!
In house they also sell handicrafts, local delicacies like pickle and papad.

Good vegetarian place on our way to Horanadu. Akki rotti and puliyogare were really good and tasty. Recommend stopover at this place. Another interesting item is Neer Dose which we could not try.

Nice cafe. Coffee was awesome. Strong and crisp. Overall place was clean and hygienic. Toilets were available and clean. Local spices available too. For kids there is a small collection of pet birds which are exotic and beautiful.
