Shree Rajshri Janak Temple

Rajshri Janak Temple is located on the side of the road north of the religious Dhanushasagar in the main market of Janakpur, the district headquarters of Dhanusha. There are idols of Dandishwar Mahadev and other deities in this temple.

This Mandir is located at the Centre of Janakpurdham dedicated to King Janak, King of Mithila, and Father of Goddess Sita Mata.

Janak was the ruler of ancient Mithila. He was father of Mata Sita and father in law of Rama. Janak's temple is relatively small in size, but having same importance like other temples. Situated in Janakpur of Nepal, in an very old structure, inside an Idol of emperor Janak proudly standed. Like other religious holy places, no question raised about cleanliness, system and other things, same here also applies.
