Manale Tea Bungalow Munnar

Our weekend stay at Manale Tea Bungalow was absolutely wonderful. Nestled in the spectacular tea plantation, it is a perfect place to unwind. The property is spacious, clean, and well maintained. The hospitality of the staff and the caretaker of the property is truly commendable. They were warm, welcoming, and helpful. The food prepared by them were simple yet tasty. We got absolute privacy during the two days. Though the journey to the estate can be quite daunting, the beauty of nature that awaits is totally worth it. It felt like a home away from home and is a great place to get together with your friends and family.

Wonderful experience, and just what we had hoped for. We were well taken care of by the staff - really excellent service, ready to accomodate any of our wishes at any time. Set in a remote location, we enjoyed full peace and quiet as well. The cottage itself was a unique experience - very well maintained and decorated, and retaining the colonial charm.
The bathrooms definitely need an upgrade though, it was not very functional or easy to maintain.

A very nice heritage bungalow built by the British and now owned and maintained by Harrison Malayalam ltd, at Devikulam amidst the Lockhart estate. There are two spacious bedrooms, dining, living, study rooms which is available for tourists to stay. We had a nice experience here for 2 days from 10 Feb. The food prepared by the live in caretaker and his wife is very good. There are plenty of walks possible in the roads in the estate from which one can enjoy the wonderful scenary of the western ghats. The bungalow is at an elevation of around 5500 ft, so nights are cold.

This is the best staycation I ever had at Munnar! It has an awesome view, serene atmosphere and provide a luxury stay exclusively for you! A Vintage bungalow! Go for a vacation here.. Amid the tea plantation there is a super cool stay awaiting you!

This is an excellent location. The best bungalow, we have stayed in our entire tour. The hospitality of Mr. Rajender and his wife is excellent. Exhaust fan in the bathrooms are much needed.

5 stars for the location. If you are a person visiting the place for the vibe, location and ambience, then no need to think twice. Food, facilities etc are just average, but the location and ambience make up for those!
