Akshara Restaurant Ponkunnam

After a long drive, we decided to stop here for veg meals.
Entering with no expectations, we were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding food quality.♥
This place is truly a hidden gem.
Our entire family was highly satisfied with the delicious and well-prepared meals.
Moreover, the price was incredibly reasonable, with a full set meal costing just ₹100 per person—much lower than other veg thali meals.

We went there yesterday night for dinner on way to sabarimala and today on way back home. They had an entire top floor giving vegetarian food with its own kitchen. The poori masala we had for dinner yesterday was average, but today's lucnh was tasty. Nothing grand, but it was enough
There was enough parking place to park 5 cars, also opposite side of road also parkable. Good one for Swami's

Best fish curry meals ever had ! Great service from staffs , bathroom was awesome and well maintained.. tasty food value for money , I'll recommend everyone to have your food from here now onwards when you visit ponkunnam

We stopped here by chance while driving towards Munnar. The reviews were a concern initially, but it actually turned out to be a really great option to stop by for lunch. We had 3 veg meals and a dosa.
The food was amazing, and the service was quick and prompt. For a break on a road trip, this place was a pleasant surprise.
Of us who also had tea here, claim that they had one of the best masala teas of our trip!

Located on Ponkunnam - Pala road. Parking is available for two cars in front of the restaurant. Clean and neat. Food and service were good. Separate washrooms for ladies and gents are available.

We ordered Veg fried rice, onion curd salad, Chappati, tomato fry. It was really good and fulfilling. It’s little bit extra green chilly for North Indians so you could say them to go light on it or you could take chillies out on your own as they cut it in big size and then add to food. Very genuine charges
The staff knows English and little bit of Hindi as well. The washrooms were okay as well. Staff is really nice. It’s on main road from konni to Munnar. They have separate hall for veg. Basically a okay place to stop on the way and have a meal and take a break.

Food is very good. Staff are friendly and nice. Lack of ac is the only negative that I could think of. Rest all very good.

We had breakfast from there. It was a good experience , i expected a average food but trust me it was awesome
