To get to this location, you must travel an off-road route that begins in Vandiperiyar. Typically, they charge 3k for a round-trip travel in a jeep.

An amazing view can be seen from the top of the mountain peak where an air strip is located.

If you Love Nature Then you must do this off road trip to Sathram. While the off road drive is an experience itself The views are amazing at the view point. Sometimes there is a possibility of spotting elephants too.

Breathtaking view, we started our trip in Zip Safari, which cost 3500 rs.
It's an amazing experience, if you love mountain, greenery, polution free atmosphere, animals, wind, adventure then trust me it's the best place to visit.

Roads aren't good enough, it's safari and entire travelling is from the rock loaded road, so if you have back issues, or not a big comfortable with safari then avoid this as it will be give you a pain.

Otherwise it's an amazing trip and location, also while you visit such place please follow the guidelines, also do not through your wastes there.

Took the Pulmedu trip to Ayyappan sannidhanam on Dec 2023. Ayyappan devotees who want to avoid Pamba crowd and want to have a bit of Periya padhai experience can try to route from Satram to Sannidhanam via Pulmedu. Its slightly tedious at the starting climbing up and climbing down during the final 3 kms. Pls be prepared as there are less Thaavalam for stay and food. Also this is under forest department control and big thanks to the forest officers for supporting the devotees. Swamiye Sharanam Aiyappa

Best place for adventures drive u can experience here after reaching the place u can see the beauty of nature surrounded by lush green clouds hitting mountains u can enjoy the nature

Our jeepsafari cost us 2500.The driver was very kind...he showed us tea estates ,cardamom plantations,lemon grass, and sathram viewpoints..the offroad and onroad experience was very adventurous...Thekkady is a must visit place

Sathram is a beautiful place, you can reach there by jeep

Nice view point , google maps location is not accurate, there is a 1 km off road, you can go by your car if you are confident or there are jeep safaris , they will take you to the view point.

Spent most valuable rs. 1500 for an off roading experience, you can rent a jeep for 1500 rupees from the place near Gavi forest, upto 6 persons are allowed to travel in a jeep, you are allowed go with your own vehicle, but recommend, because our normal car or bikes won't make it to the top, ride distance: 12 kms, you can take the jeep from kumuli but they will charge 3500rs.

Nice view, calm place. I have heard about this place Long back, but could visit now only. The experience of off road was quiet interesting.

Amazing view. Once you are here, you will realise you are surrounded by hills. To reach here, you will have to travel in an off-road vehicle. It's easily available near the Thekkady boating bus booking counter. The entire trip may take up to 4 hours. So if you plan properly, you can do Thekkady boating soon after you are back from Sathram.

A very beautiful place to visit. An adventurous journey, enjoyable by kids and elders alike.

But do check out the charges first. They may charge very high when jeeps are available at very reasonable rates.

Oh so amazing place . You get 360 o view from the hill top and even elephants on the other side of the hill area. Windy at times and really clear air , cool breeze

Jeep Safari is available to this place which is interior one. Boundry of Periyar Tiger Reserve. Nice sightseeing. Dont expect 🐯. Mountain views and off road driving and peaceful locations are awesome. You may buy this online if you do not want to pay 3500 or 4000 in offline mode buying from Govt approved agents where your driver would drop you.

Awesome view and the way to reach here is also joyful in keep safari in 4*4 Jeep ride you can choose this Jeep safari instead of do Jeep safari in thekkady. Owing to perfect views and off road ride.
