Restaurant Vazhiyoram - KERALA TOURISM

We came for breakfast buffet and they had a decent selection with good flavor. The service was also excellent. We will definitely be coming back. Good for foreigners and picky eaters. They don't charge for small children.

Came here for breakfast. Food was ok. Not too spicy. Breakfast was a buffet. Idili, poori, pallappam, kadala curry, sambar, potato curry, egg curry. Also they have omelette and dosa on order + tea and coffee.
Bathroom was clean with air dryer. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Relaxed ambiance, although service could be more attentive and prompt to enhance the overall guest experience.Foods are average

We were traveling from Kuttikanam to Kochi today and stopped for lunch at Vazhiyoram Restaurant.
We both loved the beautiful experience we had there. Both the variety of food, taste and nourishment. Buffet lunch was basically a healthy rich Kerala spread made using fresh vegetables blended with coconut. Dessert was payasam today. Excellent food!
Non vegetarian food like fish curry, fish fry and chicken items were made live using fresh ingredients with a central Travancore touch.
Owner and family also have food there.
They also interacted with us to check the quality of food and service.
Price is also affordable.
Strongly recommended for anyone passing though Mundakayam.

Altogether a good place to have lunch together. We had our lunch on the way back to Kottayam. We were around 16 cycle riders. Tour of Thekkady organised by pedal force kochi.

Had food from Vazhiyoram when I stayed at their hotel and the food was really good, had non veg and veg items. The complimentary breakfast was decent, and their menu and options are also nice. The staff is friendly and service is fast. There is also good amount of parking space near the restaurant. Prices can be on the higher side though.
