Fireflies Kabini

Fireflies Resort is located in very calm and beautiful place. We stayed here for one night only but wish we could stay for more. The rooms are clean and are equipped with all facilities. Beds and bathrooms are also very clean. Staff is very polite and cooperative. The best part is food which is very tasty. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in tariff. The overall ambience is very peaceful.

Lovely atmosphere, amazing service and food was also very good. The staff was very welcoming and helpful during our entire stay. The rooms are very neat and clean. We had taken a Tent room but due to the summer heat during the afternoon it was very hot, otherwise an amazing concept and a huge place. Very nice pool & Bonfire during the nights! Thanks for making our family holiday very memorable.

Excellent resort for a relaxed family holiday. Mr. Nagesh and the staff are extremely courteous and go to great lengths to ensure your stay is comfortable and worth it.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food was good and well prepared. The property as a whole is quiet and well taken care of. A small but well maintained swimming pool helps to beat the heat.

You can take a walk to the kabini back waters, which is about 5 mins away. Very good for an evening stroll to sit and relax by the river side.

There property is about 15 mins away from the safari starting point. Easily accessible and best to visit during summer as the chances of sighting big cats is better. We saw two tigers in our trip.

Couple of shortcomings - the last 1 km to the resort, the road is not that great. Would be better if that’s addressed. Inside the property there is not much to do so better go in a large group or if you want a relaxed laid back trip.

We recently visited this resort and must say its a very ideally located to be away from the regular chaos of the city. The resort has a very huge garden area which offers us the backwater view and is so peaceful to sit back and relax or to even play with your family and friends. They complimentary food was good. The buffet spread was good enough with good options for vegetarians. The resort is very close to Nagarhole Tiger reserve and just a 10 min drive to kakankote safari point. The Managers Kishan and Nagesh arranged us the Safari as they promised. The rooms are all well maintained, and service was also very good.
I would definietly recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful staycation.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, food was tasty and they provide variety of options, care taker nagesh and kitchen staff was amazing .The sevice was exceptional as well. They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this place.view of back water kaveri from resort was amazing.

Had a nice stay…Rooms were very well maintained, Good staff… Food was amazing- the best thing is that most of the vegetables are from their organic garden ….Even we bought few veggies and the taste was too good and yes healthy… They organised the safari as promised.. Enjoyed the stay… will visit again!!!!!

Extremely well maintained property with good food, manicured lawns, nicely done landscape, clean rooms and polite staff. Definitely worth the price. Don’t miss out the breakfast spread.

We were around 16 members. The resort in charge Nagesh and his team were very helpful and ensured that our stay was worth it. The view from the resort is serene. Food options were good.

If you’re looking for a chilled out and relaxing stay, then this is the right place. Very calm, absolutely noiseless. The hospitality by the staff was remarkably good. The food was delicious too.
We had asked for Jeep safari, they made bookings on our behalf with JLR and the charge was Rs.3500 plus tax per person.
Perhaps, JLR charges around 1800. However I’m not sure how to book a safari directly with them.
Also the staff advised to take the safari when it doesn’t rain for better spotting. That did help us 😀

The property is very well designed, food is amazing and staff is very hospitable. Would definitely recommend this to anyone planning a visit to kabini.

Kabini Fireflies a perfect place to relax, a serene atmosphere with kabini river well maintained greenary and very humble staff, good food and delicious mouth watering barbeque both veg and non veg.

Indeed a perfect destination to plan at all times.

Great location- all the comforts.
Good swimming pool, very well maintained Garden and amenities. Quiet and very comfortable. We booked a luxury tent stay and it had all the things you need lounge, tv etc... sit out with a view of the backwaters. Room was very clean and spacious.
The blockout curtains were a real bonus when wanting to sleep in. Food was excellent and absolutely delicious with a decent spread of dishes.
Plenty of room for parking your car if you have one. I would highly recommend.Very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Thanks to Chantal the manager of the resort and all the staff of Fireflies

Had a wonderful stay with a calm serene atmosphere. Fireflies is tucked away from the hustle bustle of life. The staff is amazing and extremely involved.

Beautiful property and warm hospitality. Raymond from the restaurant won our hearts. Unfortunately, I am forgetting the name of the masseuse, but he was great too.
The front desk team lacked the warmth of the other staff though.

I choose this place for my 3 days stay, as it was in a perfect location in Kabini backwaters, while speaking to the management on the phone before the booking, i very clearly mentioned asking, if it was a pet friendly resort which he said yes, but after arriving to the resort they said pets are not allowed in the resort which was very disappointing because i planned this holiday specially to spend time with my dog, so there was for sure a communication problem as manager clearly did not understand my question.
However, being a nice host they were fine to allow us to stay, and they took care of us very well. The dunning area staff were very sweet and took care of all our request, i have a lovely chat with one of the dinning area manager who was so sweet to share his love for cats . As an animal lover myself it was a great topic to talk about.
Over all a great experience, just enjoyed our stay at Fireflies Kabini,

Beautiful resort. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. Special mention to Mr. Nagesh and Mr. Brijesh for their hospitality. Rooms were well equipped and beautiful view of the backwaters. Food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely stay experience. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is very hospitable. Food is good too with good number of options. Very ideal for chilling and forgetting the outside world. However if u expect any activities there are none except safaris.

Exceptional place to relax for a weekend.. amazing staff in accommodating all our special requests.

Stayed for couple of nights total 6 folks in 3 rooms. Good food..great service. Nice room..everything works..small place...plenty of seating places.. Right nezt to the reservoir..just get out and walk to water. Peaceful..safaris are nearby (i hear there are better and more expensive places around if safaris are the main goal). Reasonably pticed room rents.. We stayed over the weekend. Highly recommend the place..
