A very beautiful station, this station has witnessed a lot of history. This station is located some distance from my house.

A railway station is situated in majhdia, krishnaganj block, nadia. The station lies under Ranaghat gede section, sealdah division, eastern railway, ministry of railway, government of India. It is one of the most crowded stations in Ranaghat gede main line. Two platforms one ticket counter, one station master's building are present in this station. Up and Down sealdah-gede locals & ranaghat-gede locals are run on this station.

Beautiful place, good people

Very nice place. Everything is available at the nearby places of this station and there is green vegetables broth. And each of everything is available here.

Beautiful place. Majhdia village is located in Krishnaganj subdivision of Nadia district in West Bengal, India. It is situated 5.5km away from sub-district headquarter Krishnaganj (tehsildar office) and 26.1km away from district headquarter Krishnanagar. Majdia station is located in Majhdia Village. The distance between Majhdia to Gede station is 11 Km. Gede station is the border of India & Bangladesh.

MAJDIA Railway station is the oldest Rail station under Sealdah main line, ones upon a times ( before 1947 ) so many mail 🚆 train's are gone to Dhaka (capital of Bangladesh) and other stations , and also it's mentioned that on that time DARGEELING mail was gone regularly through Bangladesh , due to its the shortest route,can you believe ? Now only one International train that is MAITRI EXPRESS is going regularly. So many legends person's are availed regularly in this train route, maintained - Ghandhi ji, Netaji Subash Chandra Bose and other person's .

Majdia is my Home Town.And majdia station is iconic place .Train, people ,vandors,tea stall,Hotel give this place it's true busy hustle and bustle nature.
