Glacier Goodies

I’ve had fish and chips all over the world. These were some of the best I’ve had. The fish was thick, perfectly cooked and fresh. Excellent food on a cold day.

Amazing fish and chips! It is parked right at the end of the camp ground in between it and the info center. Would recommend for a bite to eat

This little truck was a surprise. We had three lobster soup and fish and chips. The fries were simply regular, but the fish was thick and batter subtly delightful. The lobster soup is a staple in Iceland, and this one is a good example of your looking to try it. Not the most expensive. Not the cheapest. Definitely worth it.

RIBS: Great taste. Small portions from the opinion of a teenage boy; I could eat two orders on an empty stomach.

Located near the information center, food truck with 2 people cooking and serving the food. It's my fifth day and i miss-count how many fish and chips i've eaten in Iceland but this one is memorable i promise i will make a comeback if i ever visit Iceland again.

Some leave 1 star because they close before the closing time, but trust me the food is real 5 star (eventho the price is steep). I came at 3pm and they still serving food.

Soup here was pretty good. It’s the middle of nowhere so this was a good option.

Easily one of the better meals I've had while in Iceland. Simple menu with local fish cooked to order. Fish and chips were fried perfectly, light batter, not heavy coated and burnt, and still juicy on the inside. The lobster soup was piping hot, seasoned perfectly with big chunks of lobster in bowl and the Crème fraîche on top made it rich and creamy. Fries were also cooked perfectly and were crispy yet tender on the inside. The entire meal was everything I needed after a four plus hour glacier hike.

Both with a beer ran $5,000 kr or $50 US dollars, so yeah a lil pricy but I've spent as much, and more, at good food trucks in the states so the price didn't bother me as much as some people based on these reviews. Food is expensive in Iceland, and you're on holiday, so either be prepared to spend or if money is an issue prepare your own meals. but don't fault a great food truck for putting out quality food and charging a fair price for it.

The best lobster soup that I had in Iceland. Slightly spicy, creamy. Perfect after a hike to a glacier!

Un Truck food nel cuore pulsante della natura , piccolo rustico e ruspante. Tavoloni di legno da condividere con escursionisti che arrivano da ogni dove. Menù essenziale prendere o lasciare. Fish&Chips da leccarsi i baffi abbondante e con grossi pezzi di pesce fresco dalla polpa morbidissima e bianca e dal sapore delicato con panatura croccante e asciutta. Finora il migliore mai mangiato nei vari paesi nordici. Prezzo nella media Islandese .
