They have brought us in very safely and exiting way.
The guide has a lot of experience for a long time in many countries in many nature environment from high mountain to river and sea.

You should choose 3-4 hours hike in glacier if you are usual 20-50 years old person.

We've booked the 5.5 hrs Tour, it requires a bit stamina, but it's definitely the most memorable experience of our trip, you can learn so much about the Glacier from the tour guide, and they're all so friendly and easy to talk to!

This was a wonderful and well worth tour! We paid 19.000 ISK for two people. The guides are super interesting and well committed to the cause. They love their glacier! Tour is definitely needed if you want to walk on the glacier as they will provide you with crampons. Worth doing once in a life time... before it gets totally melted because of the global warming :-)

We did the glacier walk and ice cave tour . We met at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon main parking lot. The tour did not disappoint. The off road drive was fun too in their super Sprinter 4x4. Bring rain or snow gear, water and your camera! You will not be disappointed!

We had a great tour with Arctic Adventures. The guide Maja led us through two beautiful crevasses in the glacier and everything went perfectly.

When you are booking your glacier tour guide on Iceland you have many options. We choose Glacier Guides and never regret that. We took a 5 hour glacier hike, and spend on the ice around 3.5h, which was just about right. Our guide Stephane was awesome. Professional, fun, but always our safety was her main concern. Her knowledge about the glaciers is impressive. She was able to talk about it during the whole trip, and answered all our questions.
We were able to discover many parts of the glacier. That’s include flats, steeps, crevasses and many others. We even went as far up as safety possible, and really have close up look at that monster. I think we took a hundreds of picture up there.
I highly recommended Glacier Guides and I hope you will have great weather as we had.

It’s a great experience to take a walk on glaciers. The staffs are really professional and friendly that they will step by step tell you about what’s next and how to avoid to get injury. You should choice the 5 hours walk that getting higher.

An awesome experience! Definitely a highlight of our time here in Iceland. We did the half day glacier hike and it was phenomenal!! The views were unmatched when the sun decided to finally shine. I would highly recommend this company to other people who want to get up close and personal with a glacier.

Located near the largest Glaciar in Europe and the highest peak of Iceland. The park offers hikes for different difficulty groups with amazing views! One of the most beautiful outdoor places I've been in so far, I recommend!
Keep in mind that everything is extreamly expensive in Iceland.

We booked a tour of the glacier and the ice caves. They brought us together with others, gave out our equipment (crampons, alpenstock and helmet) and took to the glacier. The instructor explained how to walk in the crampons, how to use the ice axe and led to the glacier. As it turned out, the greatest number of injuries are caused by falling. That's why it's important to use the crampons right when you walk.

The ice caves turned out to be quite barrow. They do not let you into big caves since it is quite dangerous there and periodically the ceiling collapses. Caves are more like burrows: you literally have to crawl and mainly move there on your fours. There is ground under your feet and thick ice above your head. This place is definitely not for claustrophobes. The ice itself is surprisingly dirty, both above your head and inside the glacier. But it is if blueish color. It looks nice from afar.

Had a very nice tour on the glacier, with guides Pepe and Martha. Can recommend the tour, they took their time to make everything work well and listened to the wishes of the group. We saw some very nice places on the ice!

Professional glacier walk operator, they run serval type of tour from beginner to extreme ice climbing. Book in advance! Price include all gear crampons, helmet and ice axe. I rent a better hiking boot and waterproof pant just kr1000 each.

Heidi guided us very well on our adventurous glacier experience. Driven in a tourbus we rode the whole bumpy way to the glacier tongue. There, with the nice view on the mountains and the extremely amount of ice, we have started our walk to our first stop. Insanely beautiful views at this hight where breathtaking. We were very lucky with this sunny day. Impossible to forget.
