We absolutely loved this little gem of a hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable with incredible views over the lake. The lounge/dock area is amazing with paddle boards, kayaks and a water trampoline all available for hotel guests. The hotel is located about a 2 minute walk from the bus stop and a 10 minute walk from the ferry, both of which will take you to Bellagio and other destinations on the lake. Finally, the hotel restaurant was outstanding -from the food to the views to the wine list. This hotel is low key but very comfortable. The waterfront and restaurant made our stay truly special and fabulous! I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to others.

Nice place all around. The staff is very friendly. David with water activities is a great asset to this hotel. Restaurant with very good food no matter what you order. I strongly recommend staying in Hotel Villa Aurora.

We stayed as a family of 4 in a Deluxe room with lake view for 3 nights, and used the recommended pre-booked transfer taxi service from Malpensa airport, straight to the hotel. The view was breathtaking once on the winding road along the lake.
After an efficient check-in, the room itself was across the road from the reception and down the car ramp, through a door and we discovered that the knack to opening our room door was to tap the card whilst simultaneously pushing the heavy door. Our room had bath towels, beach towels, toiletries, and slippers even for the children. Kettle and teabags/coffee packets, fridge with complimentary bottled water and wine glasses were provided. A very pleasant surprise!
The new deck was lovely, and the neighbours has ‘borrowed’ our deck chairs!, but that was soon reclaimed.
Housekeeping was polite and discreet, and everyone in the hotel was efficient, ready to help if asked.
There was a trampoline near the waters edge for kids, a mini water assault course, paddle boards, kayaks and life jackets for hotel guests use. Public could pay €25 for daily access. We went on a chargeable self-drive boat from the hotel, which a lovely beach counter boy explained how to use. We took the boat to see the gorge at Nesso and back within an hour, as we were more tortoises than hares.
Dinner at the beautiful hotel restaurant must be booked especially during high season. We watched a few dressed up walk-ins being disappointed, although mama who handles the books does try hard to accommodate. There are only so many tables in a restaurant!

We have had very different experiences in other parts of Italy, and this is by far the most pleasant and best part to be! It was all we wanted in a family holiday - family run hotel, friendly and efficient, quieter area off the tourist madness, and good food and wine. It is definitely not a place for hard-to-please princesses, and Tik-tok influencers, of which we are neither thankfully, so we will be back!

Beautiful cute hotel away from the hoards of Lake Como tourism.
Excellent breakfast. Killer views. Great restaurant on the water (service can be a bit hit and miss). Sunday lunch a must.
Rooms simple but do the trick. Book a room with a little balcony. Its worth the slight additional cost.
Cristina on the front desk is a gem. thx.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We were 3 nights in a Lake view with balcony room, located in the main building on the 1st floor.
It’s logic not to expect an elevator, as the building is old (I don’t understand the people leaving bad reviews about it, what did you expect??).
Anyway, we arrived late around 11:30pm and as their website clearly says to notice if arriving late, our room keys and a letter were left in the reception so very handy when arriving this late.
Great car park, although if you care about your car you’ll probably get stressed a bit as the spaces are not big and they need to be frequently moved, as the restaurant gets busy at night.
The room and the service were very nice, double glazed windows avoided the noise from the road, good touch. The shower, bed and bathroom were all very good.
Breakfast was super complete, with veggie options and great table locations with lake views.
We used a lot the SUP and kayak included in the price, which were super fun to have. It’s true what other review said about the fuel smell of the boats when refueling, so might be good to review that process.
The sun deck was one of the few located over the lake, and were missing some tables in between, but overall great location.
Dinner and lunch at the restaurant is very nice. Good Italian food, although the prices are a bit Swiss or something like that, for example, we ate in Bellagio with lake view in a 5star hotel restaurant for the same money, but it’s handy to have this option and the service is very fast.

A really lovely , family run , boutique hotel ! Love it ! Friendly and attentive service , attention to details and quite affordable considering Lake Como crazy prices. The lake is so close you can touch it 😀 breakfast is a good selection of sweet and savoury, no frills . Highly recommend it !

Great hotel with very reasonable rates. Great restaurant with homemade pasta. It would be wonderful if the restaurant were open earlier than 7pm for us early dining tourists:) Wonderful, friendly staff, who answers every email very quickly. Great location, too. Unbelievable breakfast buffet!

The wonderful family that runs this hotel was so good to me. I was traveling solo, and they drove me to Como, took me on a boat ride across the lake, set up a spa visit for me. I really felt welcome in their lovely little hotel. And the restaurant across the street, which they also run, was fabulous as well. My trip was many years ago, but I have not forgotten about this jewel. I would love to go back to them.

What a fabulous Hotel.
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and the food is fantastic. The restaurant on the front is an absolute must for dinner.
The boat hire was one of the best experiences. And all the sun loungers and water sports are brilliant.
Special thanks to "Patrizie" who is so kind and helpful. We had a very early start home and she very kindly arranged for a packed breakfast for us and checked us out, even though she doesn't work on reception.
Incredibly wonderful lady, nothing was too much bother.
This hotel is highly recommended, the views from the lake view rooms with balconies are stunning👌 thanks for a wonderful stay.

The location was super but the most amazing was the staff, view, breakfast and the cozy rooms. The restaurant was more than super as well! We will definitely come back and would like to recommend this place to everyone!

Wonderful hotel with a very reasonable price. Splurge a little and get a room with a balcony if it's available! The room was perfect and the restaurant was wonderful with a view of the lake! Hotel is about a 50 minute bus ride from como train/bus station. It can drop you off right next to the hotel.

Breakfast in the morning was also wonderful - far more than I expected for an included breakfast. Frederica at the front desk actually made us a to go bag because we had to leave early one morning. Would HIGHLY recommend and stay again!

Great Hotel with a lovely and attentive service! Very authentic style and a huge breakfast with various options. Quite vegan friendly. The highlight of the hotel is the own restaurant and own beach club with a great view on the lake Como. Definitely gonna visit again!

Terrific reasonably priced hotel on Lake Como. It provides great access to the lake with boat rentals available for a price and free paddle and kayak rentals. The restaurant is also very good and it's excellent to spend an afternoon relaxing on the dock with a bottle of wine and a snack.

What a lovely little find and a GREAT value!! We only stayed 2 nights at this sweet hotel but wished it was longer. There clearly have been a lot of recent upgrades, including beautiful exterior pergola/retractable shades at the restaurant and side patio, and soundproof windows in the bedrooms (which were amazing!). I've never seen such a bountiful breakfast buffet - homemade breads, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, meat/cheese and even a "make your own soft/hard boiled egg machine. The cocktails were generous and the food was incredible. We had one of our best meals while in Italy at the restaurant, and the sunset view cannot be beat.
And best of all - everyone was so incredibly nice. Désirée at reception (who patiently and efficiently answered all my questions via email prior to our arrival) was fantastic. Alex, the valet, took great care of us and our car. Ethan, who helped us with our boat rental, was super nice, and Vivian in the patio café/bar was always smiling and just delightful. If you are looking for a place that's not in the high tourist zone (like Bellagio!!) and want to have amazing views, service and food - do not hesitate to book Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno!!

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Aurora in late August. We picked it because of its location on the beach, not in a busy town and because they had free kayaks, bikes and paddle boards. It went above and beyond our expectations! Our check in was easy, the room was in the waterfront building with a spectacular view of the lake. The room was very well appointed, new and very comfortable.

The staff was so helpful in navigating the buses and ferries, the breakfast which was included was huge and delicious and having beach with all of its amenities was what made our stay perfect. We ate every night at the lakeside restaurant (food was delicious) after spending most of the late afternoon in the water. I would highly recommend the Hotel Vill Aurora for its location, staff, amenities and genuine Italian feel. We loved it!!

Beautiful room with an exceptional view of the lake. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. The decking area is nicely tucked away by the lake and offers sun loungers, paddle boards and kayak's for free to guests with wake boarding and boat hire available from the short jetty. The restaurant serves great food, I highly recommend trying the pizza from the 3 page pizza menu! We are in the restaurant on more than one occasion and always had excellent food and service. I would highly recommend staying here, it's also a very close distance to Bellagio, with good transport links.
