Caravel Bike Hotel

From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble, from ordering us taxis and arranging excursions, to recommending good restaurants nearby. The rooms were immaculately clean and every one of the staff were just incredibly polite, caring, helpful and friendly, the food excellent and we had an amazing stay. Our only criticism would be that the beds were very hard and the pillows also.

Terrific breakfast, clean and well kept room. Perfect location in the town of Terbole, minutes from many restaurants and cute little shops. Great bike path 200 meters from the hotel. Many cycling and hiking trails around. Would definitely come back to the area and to the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package holiday and loved it from the minute we walked in. The staff were excellent and spoke fluent English (for us) as well as Italian and German for the majority of other guests. Breakfast had a wide choice of food and was buffet style so easy to select what you wanted. The waiting staff were very friendly especially Natasha, Cristian, Thomas and Cristina. We didn’t catch the other names but everyone was very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious with a balcony on which we could sit and enjoy the local sites and sounds.
We only managed to have one evening meal here as we were so busy but it was again buffet styles with lots of choice and freedom to have what you wanted. Vegetarian, fish or meat options and delicious desserts.

We would definitely stay here again. The hotel is called a bike hotel as there are a lot of bike trails in the area and they have many bike riders stay here. However, we were just here for a general holiday and were made to feel very welcome.

Everything perfect! :) Very good and rich breakfast, nice apertivo, clean and modern swimming pool with beach beds and umbrellas. Staff - sooooooo kind and polite, never met so many friendly people. They were speaking few words in Polish also! Very good location - close to the lake, close to the store, at the same time a but of peace in the streets behind hotel for walk with a dog. Little little minus for super thin walls - we heard everyone around and from the hall. We felt amazing in Caravel Hotel and we will come back for sure. 😄

The location was great, plenty of eateries and restaurants near by. Not far from the boat station so travelling to different parts of the lake is very accessible.
The rooms are clean and tidy, the cleaners are great at what they do. The maintenance of the hotel is maintained.
Drink and pool lunch service is amazing.
The pool and outdoor area is perfect with plenty.
The views from my room were phenomenal.

We had a great stay in Caravel hotel. We had the room for four at the top floor with a huge balcony and the incredible view to the pool, village, lake and mountains. The pool area was very nice. The hotel staff was extremely helpfull and nice and they made us feel very wellcome! The hotel location was absolutely perfect. It was just a shorts walk to the restaurants, grocery and beach. There were nearby nice trails and by car it was easy to visit other villages as well.

Great hotel ideally situated for all of the shops and restaurants of Torbole. Clean and bright with good rooms.
Staff were all lovely and very helpful and we would particularly like to mention Alice and Christian, they are both a credit to your hotel. Please pass on our thanks for them helping us to enjoy our stay and a belated happy birthday to Alice for yesterday.

If you are heading to Lake Garda to bike- you really need to stay at Caravel Bike Hotel. The facilities were excellent and totally geared toward cyclists. Outstanding staff- so friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was amazing. Location is awesome for biking excursions. Away from the most congested area but still close to great dining. This will be our place to stay every time we are in Garda.

First time visiting and couldn’t be happier with the location and hotel was first class!

Here for a second time and it's as good as last year. Rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean. Amazing views and wonderful staff members. Very friendly and helpful. They are all an asset to the hotel.

It was very pleasant to stay in this house. Very friendly employees, excellent breakfast, clean rooms and pool area, also dog-friendly AND the first bike cellar I trusted during my trip. If it’s good enough for the pro cyclists here, it’s good enough for me too. 😉 I stayed in two different rooms (one very silent, the other a bit more noisy but nothing dramatic) and even the small single one had a balcony. Top!

Staff first class. A special call out for Georgia who was excellent. Only downside bathrooms are very small especially shower cubicle.

This year was the third year I’ve visited Caravel Bike Hotel in Torbole. I highly recommend this hotel.

You will be welcomed by Marcello, who is the manager and had been the face of the hotel for a long time. He is very kind and will go all the way to make sure you have a great stay. The reception also includes Roberto (who even speaks Dutch) and Ivan. Both are happy faces to see and are very friendly and helpful. The reception will provide you with all the information needed. From where to rent bikes to what museums to visit. If they don’t know the answer to your tourism related question, they will find out and come back to you as soon as possible.

Breakfast/restaurant service is run by Renata, Hena, Christian, Rudina, Marina (I think) and the chef Gianpaolo. With Renata in charge, breakfast and diner are run very smoothly. Hena, Christian, Rudina and Marina serve and retrieve dishes. They all work hard and fast, my compliments! Gianpaolo is a great chef that makes wonderful food. Breakfast is comprehensive and diner has been a variation of international dishes. The above mentioned personnel are very nice, service oriented, speak multiple languages and will make sure your stay is up to high standards.

I would also like to mention housekeeping. They work hard and the rooms are cleaned well every day.

The hotel is located at the best spot in my opinion. As it is 100 meters from Torbole center, but has a bit more peace than the actual center. Parking is in front of the hotel and included in the price. Other hotels in Torbole also have parking but some have a parking area 10 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel has a dedicated bike storage with camera security. The pool is very clean and the lobby/bar at the ground floor is cosy and well designed. The rooms are of a good size, have a good size bathroom and I think they all have a balcony. Rooms are also isolated well and I’ve stayed at the road side for the last three years and slept very well.

The big plus at this hotel is the staff. All are very kind and will give you a personalised stay. I highly recommend booking at Caravel Hotel. I look forward staying there again. Grazie tutti e ci vediamo l’anno prossimo!

The place was perfect for what we wanted staff were really nice the room was kept spotless the breakfast was good fresh coffee every morning. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very nice place to stay, located in the centre, 2 min walk to beach, great breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful stuff, cosy and clean rooms, bike room including tools. Only the parking spots are a bit narrow so please park carefully and considerately to other guests.

Hotel Caravel is one of the best hotels i ever visit!

I suggest to take the half borad - wotrh it ! the food is so delicious !
I came on Easter and i'm jewish, i did not find anything to eat at the dinner menu. the manager of the dining room came to me and offered to make me what i love to eat - AMAZING !! i was speachless.
The location are superb, if you like to ride i suggest to rent a bicycles and ride to the nearby towns - Malcesine, Riva Del Garda and Limone.
It was so fun to get know the towns, eat lunch and explore any alley.
You can also take the cruise from one town to another, the view is magnificent.
I will come back for sure !!
