Gasthof / Schutzhaus Schöne Aussicht

Spent a week up in the mountains of South-Tyrol for a snowboard trip. I was pleasantly surprised of this remote hut that we stayed at. It was warm, cozy and the food was absolutely superb. I tried most items on the menu and all of them were a 9+. Especially the Kaiserschmarrn was a 10/10.
Every afternoon there was a beautiful sauna and hot tub waiting for us, where we could calm down and let the muscles relax. The rooms and linen were clean, and although it’s a bit noisy (what can you expect from a 100+ years old mountain hut), I slept really good. Earplugs in, and you’re good to go.

But what was the absolute best part of this stay were the people working here. Seldom have I met such warm en welcoming people in an hotel. They were professional, engaging, proactive, patience and always walking around with a smile.

For anyone looking for a different experience during a ski holiday, I can highly (!) recommend Bella Vista! Thanks for the amazing week!

Amazing mountain hut.. or more properly.. mountain shelter (from refugio/schutzhütte) in Maso Corto ski-resort. Beautiful stony building high above 2800m elevation observes remains of the Senales glacier. They offer good selection of Tirolean specialities, fine weizen from a tap and friendly atmosphere. Have a "kaminwurz", take a seat on wooden terrace and just enjoy sun and views. And.. if you have a chance to be there on beginning of the 40 days Lent period, expect fresh oysters served on snow and glass of Champagne :-)

Really beatiful view and wonderful food. Very helpful team. You can also borrow a book or play cards or games. No public WiFi so talk to people.

Fantastic place out of beaten tracks accessible by ski or foot. We did not sleep there however had some stops during skiing holidays. Very cosy, old fashioned and warm place with nice kitchen with tasty Italian and southern Tirol dishes. Friendly people out there. Today it is not so easy to find such places in crowded Alps...

Very nice, cosy place beetween the mountains. A good place to take a rest while skiing. The Kaiseschmarrn was fantastic and the greens soup was good too. Outside you can have a sunbath on the sunbeds while enjoying your tea. Prices are average for such a place. We will wisit again.

SUPER NICE PLACE FOR A LUNCH. Super efficient, staff super nice, delicious food (do not forget the tiramisu!). If busy ask the manager he will you a place within a reasonable timeframe. There are 3-4 restaurants on the slopes to stop by at Val Senales, this is by far the best.

Simply spectacular. Good local food. Nice rooms for beeing so high up in the mountains.
