Camping Giglio Roberto Piccinni

This was a great camping experience. The staff was really helpful, on multiple occasions they helped us out. Tent pitches are provided with tables, chairs and a sun umbrella, which is really nice. It is unfortunately not possible to walk to any nearby activities, but a short car ride of 10 minutes will bring you to numerous options. The showers and toilets are clean and there is an extensive playroom for kids, where you can also charge your phone. Privacy on the pitches was not everywhere optimal but we had no problem with it. The camping is so small that not a lot of people walk by. We really loved it here and would return if we are in the area.

The camping is 8 km away from the main road which goes around Lago di Garda. Pitches have grass, they are flat and most of them have some shade. The owner, Roberto, is a very humble and nice person and the people who work at the Trattoria are fantastic. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend it!!! As for the camping it has great showers and toilets and a nice covered area where you can chill. The road is near the camping area but at night, I would say after 18-19, it's super quiet. We slept very very well. We were there for only two nights but if we get the chance we are definitely coming back. Great camping, and in my opinion, way more relaxed and cozy than the ones on the lake front that are overcrowded and overpriced.

Wonderful location for camping. We visited with our campervan. Nice flat pitch with good views, options for electric, access to water. Table and chairs provided. A few visits from the resident hog! Beautifully clean and well kept toilets and showers, with option washing machines and sinks to clean dishes in. Restaurant was also very lovely, nice food and drink. Great service, very friendly and accommodating staff. They were incredibly flexible with our needs. Cannot recommend enough!

Very nice camping spot away from the crowded lake shore with clean washrooms and friendly people. Very spacious lots.
The only downside are the abundant motorcycles coming through on weekends with several showing off by revving the engine. Monday it was quiet again.
As there are walking routes nearby you can park for several days without the need to pack the camper van each day for the day activity

A clear recommendation..

End of last summer (September 2021) we visited this perfect campsite from Roberto. Perfect if you are looking for a quiet and nature oriented campsite. Nice views from above over the lake and a lot of hiking and biking opportunities.

Facilities are furthermore basic but very well maintained. Bathrooms super clean and a Roberto has a nice restaurants next to the campsite where he prepares very tasty dishes.

We stayed a few extra nights to relax before heading to the crowded south end of the lake.

best place ever... great family, great place, good food and not the typical camping site.
Back again 2020 and it just get‘s better every time. Really getting the vibe here. During covid they really take it serious and you feel safe!
Great return in 2022. Food is even better than before. I would recommend some Michelin stars. It‘s lively at times, but also leaves room for piece and quiet, feeling close to nature, a bit up the mountain, with one of it’s great twisty roads. Freshly added are some gaming machines in the „lounging“ area for campers under the restaurant, which were tested by our children. They loved them. It feels the quality, especially in the restaurant has risen, which I actually did not think was possible. I highly recommend going there, even if it‘s only for a quick stop and an Italian coffee.

We’ve been at this camping for 4 days and it has been lovey! They are super friendly & very hospitable! I would also recommend to eat in their restaurant!
Next to the beautiful view from the campsite, is it also a great place for something more active, such as great hiking opportunities in the nearby area. Also is it just a 10 minute drive to the lakeside. We would love to come back here :)

Great place to stay for a few nights. You have everything you need for a good price. The restaurant is really good as well but the view is what makes this place so special. You can walk down to gargnano but it takes about an hour and is quite steep.

Great campsite! Staff were very friendly and helpful (even when our electric pump broke!) Toilets were very clean, food was excellent and well priced. A must visit.

Absolutely wonderful and a refreshing approach to campsites!
Cheerful staff who were happy to help. Pitch was great, big and flat, with individual electric and water as well as a table and chairs with umbrella and a drying rack. Great showers and bathroom facilities. Fridges for campers to use as well as freezers for ice packs. Laundry facilities not only free (!!!) but liquid provided too!!!
A few arcade machines to keep the kids from being bored while chores are done.
Wonderful restaurant, we particularly enjoyed breakfast with the view of the mountains and lake.
The drive up the hill is absolutely worth it, it’s like an oasis of calm in the mountains.
We would be more than happy to recommend and if we come back to Lake Garda this is where we will stay. Lago di Garda has our heart and so does Campeggio Giglio. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we were sad to leave.

After our hiking trip to Zwitserland, we really enjoyed this lovely campsite at Lake Garde for four nights. This 10 minute drive from Gargano is really worth it. We had a spot with a beautiful view. As we didn't want to cook, we had a great diner and service in their restaurant. And an excellent coffee in the morning.

Camping Giglio is excellent located to discover the western part of lake Garda and even northern. We organized two mountain bike tours whereof one at lake Valvistino and one at Lake Idro. The one hour drive to Riva sul Garda is not an hick-up to stay here as you could combine it with visiting Limone or other villages.

Very kind people and a restaurant with excellent food. The washing rooms are clean.
The view of the lake garda is the icing on the cake.

We stayed here a couple of years ago, great Solitary camping. Great food and the beer selection was great. We were very well welcomed :)
