I would love to have dinner here again and this is a must visit if you’re in the area! Delicious food and cooked so well, fresh and I loved the look of so many of the dishes on menu! You really get value for money, as it’s so reasonably priced and the drinks selection too. I’m still drooling over how yummy my beef fillet was - just everything we 10/10! (Ps. We came back - and wow, their salami on the meat platter was to die for)!

Fresh, down to earth, unique and an unforgettable experience. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent quality— It was clear that every ingredient, plating and presentation was intentional and well-thought through.

I highly recommend this place if you’re around Lake Garda, but make sure you make a reservation in advance before going. I will definitely be back and maybe next time lucky to be seated inside the cave :)

I am so thrilled to have stumbled across this place - we had two days not booked before lake como and spontaneously decided to take a trip to gargnano on lake guarda beforehand and really couldn’t be happier with our decision.

After an hour of google reviews and instagram lurking we tried to get into trattoria san martino - they were busy but we’re able to squeeze us in a little later in the evening. The place was packed - with all happy faces and from what I expect bellies.

We ordered a glass of bubbly with their seafood carpaccio caught fresh - jt was delightful- then we had a beautiful bottle of Sauvignon blanc. We decided on going with white for a change since being on the coast we knew we were going to eat fish.

From start to finish every course was delightful, even more delightful then the one before. I recommend the veal Bianco ragu pasta - that is one dish I did not want to end.

The pork loin came with this unreal cheese sauce I really should’ve double checked the name of the cheese I believe it was tremosine cheese - bravaaaaa

We asked the server for the recommended fish dish and went with the special - it was a filet of coregone. A white fish done with capers, cherry tomatoes, fresh vegetable medley.

Dolci we had the lemon sorbetto it came with a small vial of aromatic juices to squeeze inside really made the dish unique and delicious. My fiancé had the panna cotta - and I ate half of it because it was so good

Besides the food being great the service was unreal we were welcomed by a highchair, kids cutlery and place setting for kids. My fiancé and I are foodies (he’s a chef) and we love splurging on nice Michelin style meals but have had a hard time this trip because they are not kid friendly. Any place we’ve tried to get into have said that our child may disturb the setting.

This place was Michelin quality, Michelin service && accepted our child - beyond

The owner even took her into the kitchen with him to show her around the place

Great experience in this restaurant. All the plates we had were very good, well prepared and presented. The lake-fish starter is delicious, with several variety of fish prepared in different ways. The fried-not fried fish was wonderful too. The same goes for the spinach and the lemon cake which was a wonderful surprise.
The service is really good, as people are there for you but don't show up too frequently.
The wine selection is good, we chose the Lugana from Ca' de frati winery and it was perfect for the food. The owner suggested the wine and we couldn't have decided better.

Beautiful place, staff was so kind,, they also helped really well with choosing the wine. And the food was perfect. Lemon risotto was so delicious and the smoked carbonara was really unique and the flavors were nicely balanced.

Really impressed by this restaurant. The food is simple yet delicious. They have an exquisite homemade black bread with grains of salts in it which was succulent. Service and personal is top notch. Highly highly recommended

The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the service is very friendly.

The food was just la bomba!!! The best place we ate in from all 4-5 restaurants we visited in Gargnano.

The appetizers, the pasta (we took gnocchi and carbonara), the fish and the deserts (tiramisu and lemon cream with olive oil) everything was insanely delicious. The only think I was a bit not that happy with was the tiramisu which was creative and I was expecting the traditional Italian tiramisu.

In overall a great experience totally worthy visiting if you are in Gargnano.

If again in Lago di Garda definitely going back!

Atmosphere, staff, location, food and wine are all amazing! We enjoyed the dinner so much, that we went another time, on our last night here at lake Garda.
It is high quality and delicious food with completely acceptable pricing. Even the greetings from the kitchen, the olive oil, and the bread are fresh and super yummy. Anyone who is looking for a beautiful atmosphere, splendid food, and a relaxed evening GO HERE…but make sure you reserve a table.

The best meal we had in Lake Garda by a country mile. The food was clever, fresh, creative and delicious. The service was impeccable and the staff had oodles of character. If you are in Lake Garda you MUST visit!

One of the best restaurants in Gargnano. Creative cuisine, delicious and fresh food, very attentive and quick service, perfect covid compliance - and all at a very fair price. We are thrilled and went twice for dinner in one week because we liked it so much.

Delicious food, cooked with obvious love of the ingredients. You'll almost certainly need to reserve a table in advance. You can sit outside in the alleyway for a bit of romantic ambience and adventure, or inside if you need a bit of air con! Great service, reasonably priced. Parking can be tricky in busy times - you may want to arrive a little early to allow walking time in case you have to park at the other end of town and stroll down through Gargagno to get there. Seafood and meat treated with equal love. Enjoy!

We had a perfect dinner here with amazing food and incredibly nice staff and beautiful ambience. The staff was very accommodating and helpful in any regard. We had our favorite meal here during our stay at Lake Garda! Can’t wait to be back and try some more of their meals

The food is a good mixture between modern and classic italian cuisine and the service in my opinion is well above the expectation we had in relation to the prices.
In my opinion definitely the best restaurant in this region.
