Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda

This hotel experience was probably one of the best we’ve had so far. We were greeted as we pulled up in our car, and our bags were taken right away to meet us in our room. After check in, we were offered a welcome beverage in the lobby or terrace. Before going to our suite, you’re offered a tour of the resort. The entire property is immaculate. I believe all rooms have a lake view, and each one (even the “lowest tier”) are beautifully designed. The staff was attentive throughout the stay and was happy to assist in any way they could. The breakfast selection was extensive, and lunch options were nice at Limonaia and the pool bar. I could go on, but I’ll end with we will definitely be back in the future!

Of note, it is a 15-20 minute drive from the town below (Gargnano). If you want to be directly on the lake, this might not be the place for you. However, we thought it was well worth the drive to town. Technically you don’t ever have to leave the resort if you don’t want to!

I wish i was able to give it a 10 out of 5! The view & location are like a dream! You know when you look at pictures for beautiful locations & say to yourself “oh this cant be this beautiful, it must be the angle or the photography!” Well, here you go! It’s one of those places, yet more beautiful than any picture you’ll ever see! Stunning hotel, amazing rooms with an exceptional view! Spa is amazing & the pool is out of this world! Last but not least, the kindest & most caring staff ever! I wasn’t feeling well & the whole hotel staff would ask about me when they see me! The restaurant manager wouldn’t let me go to my room alone as she was worried so she sent a lovely lady with me! The spa canceled my treatment free of charge as a sign of care🤍 Beautiful people & hotel! I will always come back here whenever I can! It’s a hidden gem!

An absolute dream!

Had my eye on this resort a full year before our honeymoon, and while I had super high expectations, I can safely say that they were all exceeded!

The room was immaculate, filled with little details that catered to our comfort and leisure, such as easily controlling anything in the room and easily ordering whatever we desired.

The staff was beyond accommodating and kind! We were totally pampered from start to finish.

The spa offered any and every treatment we could imagine, and was immensely relaxing and enjoyable for us!

And the resort itself was just a dream; it was every bit of the luxurious, laid back, breathtaking place I hoped it would be. We were able to step back from the busy active schedules in Rome, Florence, and Milan, and were able to just relax, enjoy ourselves, and take in the most magical views that you never get tired of.

The only minor note I would have is that because the resort is amongst so much nature, it is common to see various insects from bees to grasshoppers to beetles, and so that slightly reduced our ability to use our balcony at times. But that still pales in comparison to everything else the resort has to offer.

Absolutely recommend this place for an unforgettable experience! And we really hope to return here sometime soon!

Our 5th visit since 2009 and our first since the refurbishment and the experience was exceptional as always. This is a serious spa run by highly polished professionals supported by a fantastic hospitality and culinary team. The views overlooking Lago di Garda are sublime, the fitness facilities are superb (our class instructor shredded us) the scenic hiking trails nearby are vigorous, the food is very good and breakfast is exceptional. 'Aufguss' is not to be missed. Offsite, highly recommend lunch at Ristorante Bogliacio on the lake.

This spa and wellness resort is situated near Lago di Garda, a large lake with long winding roads and fantastic scenery. Access to the resort was a bit tricky, as it was located at the end of a gated, winding road. Definitely very exclusive, very beautiful and very serene environment overall!

This place is incredible better than all the photos you see online.

The only negative is the limited food options at the hotel and in the area.

The saunas and pools are amazing it’s like having a high end Turkish bath house as part of the hotel.

I want to start by saying that this was an exceptional hotel, very high-class at a reasonable price. We liked it so much that we initially booked 5 nights, then extended our stay.

Service:
Special thanks to the waiter Yan, who made our restaurant visits unforgettable. Yan is an impeccable professional and very pleasant to talk to, a unique person. He really brightened our breakfasts and dinners. On the days Yan was off, dinner felt completely different. It was very nice to meet him. Special thanks to him!

The entire hotel staff worked very hard and deserves thanks for their attention, kindness, and professionalism. All our requests were resolved very quickly. The room cleaning twice a day was simply excellent! All your efforts make a stay here truly unforgettable.

Food:
The breakfasts at the hotel were simply amazing! Very tasty and high-quality food. Oatmeal with almond milk, cappuccino with plant milk, exceptional omelets, freshly squeezed juices, especially from red oranges, a variety of ripe delicious fruits. Everything was excellent.
Dinners each evening were a wonderful surprise—the menu changed daily, offering new delicious dishes that made each dinner special.

Spa area:
All provided amenities were beyond praise. A large relaxation area, many saunas, heated pools with hydromassage, disposable underwear, tea, healthy snacks, fruits, vegetables. And all this included in the stay! It was our oasis of relaxation. I went for massages with the therapist Alisa and really enjoyed it.

Territory and amenities:
Beautiful, large, well-maintained hotel grounds, many paths for walking, gardens, forests, new sports equipment.

Cleaning and rooms:
Very spacious and clean rooms, which were meticulously cleaned twice a day, made our stay extremely comfortable. New and soft bedding, comfortable mattress, soft slippers, robes, luxurious bathroom, new TVs, balcony view, coffee machine, kettle, mineral water, quality shower products, apples brought to the room daily. Everything was excellent!

This hotel left an unforgettable impression thanks to its service, amenities, and caring staff. I will definitely return here again. It is the best hotel I have stayed at. Definitely recommend for a perfect vacation!

It is important to know!

For those driving their own cars and not ordering a transfer, note that the hotel is located on a mountain, accessed by a serpentine road. The road is good, not narrow, but very winding. Nothing scary, but it might be uncomfortable for drivers who are not very confident.

We stayed in November for three days at Lefay, and we enjoyed every minute.
From the breathtaking Lake Garda view, to the beautiful rooms, relaxing spa area with plenty of excellent wellness services.
The hotel staff and the service personal at the wellness/spa area was always very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was generous with lot of food options.
The only thing we where not fully convinced of was the dinner.
We where expecting more food variety and more flavor for dinner.
But overall we really loved the place, and we will come back.

I had the most incredible experience here! I could not get over their impeccable attention to detail. They make you feel like the most important person and genuinely care about your comfort and wellbeing. I want to highlight the extraordinary service received by Andrea who was our waiter at La Limonaia. He went above and beyond to make our experience memorable by bringing additional things to our table that he knew would make us happy. He was extraordinary! I also want to highlight Julia at the front desk who helped my fiancée secretly plan out the proposal!
Besides that, the spa services and views were fabulous as well!
This place is worth every penny and I know I will be back!

One of the best resorts I've ever seen.

Amazing view, wonderful services, luxurious rooms with very carefully chosen colors and decoration.

A seamless blend of luxury, breathtaking natural beauty and an unparalleled level of service. Moments of serenity are as rare as they are precious nowadays yet here every single element invites you to find harmony within. Among the highlights: “La Luna nel Lago” salt lake in exclusive privacy, the panoramic sauna and the Lefay Signature massage treatments that rejuvenate your body and soul, leaving you transformed into a renewed and revitalized version of yourself.

Almost missed this gem because of all those old photos in Google maps! This resort look fantastic after the renovation! Plus it got the absolute best view over Lago di Garda!

We enjoyed a beautiful complementary dinner thanks to Virtuoso, their risotto is lovely! And the breakfast buffet is the most extensive of all the resorts I’ve stayed in Italy🇮🇹

But remember to book in the Spa in advance as they do book out easily!

Beautiful location with amazing view on Lake Garda and mountains. Spa service offers are great.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel. If you’re in need of an escape to somewhere where you can unwind, recharge and detox from this busy world, then this is the place for you. I did treat myself to a fancy cocktail by the pool, so I’m not sure if I fully detoxed… But it was well worth it! The rooms are gorgeous, and there is a extensive steam and sauna room selection to be enjoyed after the swimming pool!

This is simply the best spa hotel in the world. I have stayed in a number of properties with very luxurious Spa's and the only thing that comes close are the Onsens in Japan.

From arrival, the staff are very helpful and welcoming, there is parking at the property and staff are very prompt in valet parking your car and taking it out for you when you need to move on.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and contain a good variety of amenities. the views from our room were sublime and overlooked Lake Garda

Breakfast for fabulous. You have a wonderful buffet with a continental selection as well as a few a la carte options. The highlight for me here was the juice maker. This was an industrial type machine where you can quickly create a blend to your liking.

The Spa! again, I can't comment on how special this was, you have an indoor heated pool which leads out onto an outdoor area which again overlooks the Lake and surrounding area. There are a number of deckchairs and gazebo's both inside and out. The highlight here has to be the panoramic Sauna, quite literally a Sauna that is surrounding my glass so you can take in the breathtaking views around you. There are also a number of indoor facilities such as steam rooms, sauna's, swimming pools, cryo cold pools and much more.

To top it off, the relaxation areas are very comfortable and contain a variety of healthy drinks (hot and cold) and healthy snacks such as nuts, berries and fruits.

An amazing experience, will definitely visit again

Superlative weekend spent here. Easily the most beautiful sauna I have ever seen. The sports massage was fantastic. The view from the pool is breathtaking. The restaurant has a brilliant vegan tasting menu.

We stayed just one day to celebrate our anniversary. We were lucky with weather and we enjoyed the beautiful view, the pools and the spa. The room was simply perfect, the service discreet but efficient and the structure is stunning.

Very good spa hotel! If you are looking for a spa treatment, this is the place! Many pools, heated or not, hamam, Sauna, massage, good and modern gym. Very nice rooms and very good housekeeping.
Good garage for the car.

An extraordinary hotel. We received a very warm welcome from the reception and the service level stayed very high for the rest of our stay! The view from the hotel is stunning and it is located in a beautiful area. The spa has a great variety of pools, saunas and even a salt lake a long with numerous treatments. Breakfast and restaurants/bar came with delicious food and a warm service. Rooms are very spacious, modern and all have a view of the lake. Staff made a great effort of giving one the best possible stay in a very wholehearted way!

When we visit next time we hope that single use plastics will be completely eliminated (e.g plastic straws at bar), plastic cups in spa replaced and micro plastics (sodium polyacrylate) and other synthetic polymers are removed from your skin products.

The most enjoyable resorts around the area.
Staff is simply amazing and super friendly. The restaurant always offered great food and the view is just incredible. I definitely cannot wait for Lefay to open more resorts in more locations!

Only thing I could say to improve is that there should be an ice pool next to the Sauna. There is an ice pool at Lefay Dolomiti and I was quite disappointed to not find one here at lago di garda location.
