My wife and I came here on our honeymoon.

Everything was absolutely perfect.

The food is spectacular. Wines are delicious. Staff all excellent and extremely helpful. Every member of staff we interacted with from the receptionist, the cleaning staff, waiting staff and owner were all great. I can see there are exceptionally high standards being set here with a real eye for every little detail.

It is very rare to find such an amazing experience from start to finish. I would recommend to anyone. It’s all totally perfect.

I chose this hotel to propose to my partner and it was absolutely beautiful! I contacted the hotel before hand to organise and arrangement the engagement and they were more than helpful! especially Michela, she was super friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights to which the room and food were incredible. We had the wagu beef and tasting menu, which was perfect.

The location is stunning. Overlooking the lake, you can see for miles. The pool and grounds were very picturesque. We can’t wait to go back and visit again!

*A note for future visitors, you can only get here by car. They offer a premium transfer service from the train station directly to the
hotel for a decent price.

The hotel in not directly on the lake but on the mountainside about a 10 minute ride from the town below. It is wonderfully peaceful with gorgeous views of the lake, the surrounding countryside, and the mountains. Surrounding the hotel there are tastefully landscaped grounds, an outdoor area for breakfast and evening aperitivo. The owner of the hotel, Francesco and his wife, Raffaella are fabulous hosts. The staff were attentive, warm and friendly. Our dinner was exceptional and the wine list is really great with a lot of smaller, unknown producers (both local and Italy-wide) mixed in with the more well known wineries. We highly recommend this beautiful spot for a more relaxed stay at Lago di Garda.

Lovely small hotel in a historic villa on the mountainside above lake Garda. Good food, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. I would come again.

We come to the restaurant for dinner was so amazing. Delicious Food pasta truffle and meet ribs. Amazing service and great staff. Beautiful place.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful. The food was great. The masseuse was very skilled and kind. The view was absolutely the most beautiful. The owners are extremely gracious and have a wonderful dog. Will definitely come back next year.

This hotel is in a beautiful location (a 20-30 minute drive up the hill from Gargnano).
We stayed for 3 nights.
The room (#402 in the annexe) was plain but comfortable, with great views over Lake Garda. Modest sized bed, good shower and clean.
Good breakfast on the terrace.
We had a lovely dinner at the hotel for 2 nights (driving down to Gargnano for the 3rd night).
The hotel has a lovely meadow area with recliners & gorgeous views.
There are lots of walking options nearby e.g. we did a lovely 2 hour walk through several local villages.
And its a 10 minute walk into the local village (restaurant, bar & ice cream options).
The hotel has a good sized pool with great views over the lake.
Good Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property.
One small niggle... We only had one usable socket in our room that worked with our UK converter.

Stunning view, charming ancient villa, excellent food!

This was a lovely hotel which felt like home. It is located in an absolutely stunning scenery in the lake Garda region. The staff was accommodating even from before our arrival always responding to emails/ questions, we even received a map on how to arrive by car. We had breakfast and dinner here for most of our stay and there was not one meal that was disappointing. Every meal was carefully crafted and absolutely delicious.

I will note that January is fairly dead in Lake Garda, almost everything was closed in the nearby towns. The staff helped us find activities to do and we honestly had a great time exploring and relaxing.

We would absolutely stay here again.

Great service, atmosphere, architecture, design and food. Also got an appetizer on the house, was real good (a pancake with some great cheese for vegetarians, shrimps for the others). Dishes are served very aesthetically. One of us who really didn't like her dish didn't have to pay for it. Reasonable price for what you get.

Fabulous! Hidden gem of a place well worth the trek up the steep mountain road to get to it Wonderful views across Lake Garda to the mountains beyond. Fantastic restaurant, bit pricey but special. So gorgeous we booked for an extra night

I stayed here in June on a road trip, for two nights. The hotel is amazing. The family that runs is provides excellent service, the views are amazing, the food and staff are all excellent. Would definately recommend staying here to anyone.

The most beautiful view of Lake Garda available. Fantastic dinners, luxurious Junior Suite room in the Villa. We enjoyed the pool area, the breakfast, and the amazing view from the terrace. And to top it all off: the delightful and charming company of Gina & Rocco, the house English Bulldogs of the Villa Sostaga.

This hotel has a country-house feel and a pleasantly laid back atmosphere. The staff are polite and helpful, the food is very good and overall a very restful place.
