Ristorante Romantico il Paiolo

So this restaurant is my absolute favourite in 🇮🇹 It’s remarkable in all categories and gets in every 1000%!
I never expected a better service, flair and Italian cuisine in one!
The service by Romy, her colleagues and the restaurant chef was excellent.
My daughter, which is vegan, loves the handmade Spaghetti with tomato sauce. My son had ate already a lot of times Gnocchi, but they never had been so good, while I had the Truffle Steak 🥩(rare) which makes me already crazy by the fine scent when it arrived. Also I’ve never cost until today get a steak rare, at the same time still tender and so easy to cut than at the “Restaurant Romanico il Paiolo” (and I’m always very petty at this topic!!!) . My husband, which loves smelly cheese (and I hate it!), chose the sirloin steak with blue cheese and even the taste of this was incomparably delicious!🧀

One last thing, always book a table before, we’ve been today (Tuesday evening) there and they’ve been booked out, so that a lot of passing customers couldn’t get a table in short term (and we booked it online 1 day before).

Delightful ambience and unique. The owner came out while we were waiting and gave us all a glass of wine as we waited. So kind. The steak filled the plate and was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed our time.

The restaurant was amazing, great food, environment, quality and service. We were treated very kindly by the staff from the moment we encountered the host. Nina our server was amazing and treated us so well throughout our dinner time. The appetizer and the pastas we had were amazing, great cuisine. We would definitely come back and recommend you to try it out.

The dishes are fabulous, the pasta and the t bone steak are impeccable. The ambience is chill and relax. Nina has given us the best dining experience and the house wine is absolutely amazing! It's the best dining place you would not want to miss out.

Candles, twinkle lights, and great steak. The food was amazing, with great house wine and friendly staff. We started with wine and went right into the steak. The waiter explained our options and even brought the steak out before it was cooked. The balsamic was excellent. Loved the presentation of the steak. Cheesecake was very good. Great place to have a Tuscan steak.

We had our best dinner in Florence at il Pailo. We started with a deeply flavorful wild boar ragu. My son then had an enormous t-bone steak (perfectly medium rare and well seasoned, and I enjoyed the veal with artichokes and cherry tomatoes. It was so tender and delicious. I highly recommend (making reservations) and dining here if you are visiting Florence.

One of the best local restaurants ever. The food was phenomenal and we loved it. We will definitely come back again. Also, Nina, the waitress was the best. She was so kind and helpful and friendly. Loved it.

This was the most perfect restaurant for a romantic, Tuscan dinner. We stumbled on the restaurant with no reservation and they seated us straight away. The food was delicious, the service was perfect - very helpful and informative about the menu.

Great service and hospitality. Nina, our waitress, was so kind and generous. The rib eye and fillet were delicious and cooked beautifully. Definitely recommend coming here for a family friendly meal or date night!!

This lovely evening, we were greeted by Michele, who was very attentive and served us the entire evening. He was charming, charismatic, and conversational. He was catering to everyone's needs but keeping the environment so fun and fresh. So for the atmosphere, it's a 10/10.

So now on to the food, so our table ordered; bruschette Al pomodoro, tagolini con fordata di pecorino e tartufuro nero, pici alla carbonara and ravioli de patate Al tartufo nero, insalata greca con feta de olive.

The food overall was amazing. It was fresh, tasty, and overall amazing. The pasta was so fresh. No complaints at all.

For drinks we had ordered; a white wine special that was recommended to us by Michele (sweet, fruity 50/50) it was a white wine and a Coca-Cola.

The wine was a hit. It was completely demolished.

It was amazing!! The food was incredible, the service was phenomenal! Lidia was wonderful and my husband and I had a fabulous time. Highly recommend! Definitely get a reservation - it was all around immaculate. 12/10

The dinner was delicious and the staff were amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and she even gave us recommendations for where to visit in the city as we are visitors. I got gnocchi and the two others I was with had 2 different types of ravioli. Everything tasted great and the drink was also fabulous. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially visitors because of their hospitality.

Don’t think twice. You MUST eat here if you’re in Florence. Let’s start with the quality of service here. We were greeted with champagne and waited about 10 minutes for our table. Our waiter Arbez was so friendly and polite. We even got complementary limoncello. The food was phenomenal and truly delicious.

This restaurant has been our favourite so far, beautiful food and nina our beautiful waitress was exceptional!

When in Florence this place is where you need to go. Enjoyed the Florence signature dishes here and it was incredible. I was served by Romy, who spoke perfectly English and assisted me very well in the ment. Excellent advise, really thoughtful and she is very kind. The place looks like a tavern inside, the people are welcoming and warm and most important, the food and wine is amazing. Definitely going back once I am in Florence again.

This is my first time eating Bistecca alla fiorentina and some time for my friend. She said the meat really juicy than other places. And the service really nice! A bit tight for a restaurant but I don't mind, I prefer that they have best quality for food and wine.

The spaghetti al pomodoro is simple and yet delicious, usually this menu would be acid if they cook in wrong way. Surprisingly it was yummy , a bit sweet (naturally). i couldn't afford finish the spaghetti of my son, because I've ordered 1,5kg of steak. Next time 1,5kg for 3-4 women portions not 2 women😁

Emonuel was our server and he was lovely! We were very happy with the location of the restaurant and everything it had to offer. We are in Italy for our honeymoon and this was by far the best food and service we have received our entire trip!

I highly recommend trying the T-bone steak. You can taste really delicious steak. The rabbit meat and carbonara were also delicious.

Very pleasant place with good food and wine. The personnel, especially Asia, was very attentive and friendly. I would go there again 🩷
