Absolutely beautiful gardens, very well maintained and kept. Great place to spend a nice sunny day or go for a nice long walk or hike. I spent an afternoon here walking around checking everything out, I was here in the early spring so I can image how much more beautiful it will look in the summer. There’s lots to do and see in and around this area. I really enjoyed my time here and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I am so impressed with the beauty of these gardens. So much to see and admire, we visited in February so I can't imagine how beautiful it is in spring. There is a lot of vegetation, mini lakes, statues, endless walks that you can have in these marvellous gardens.

Initially, I wasn't impressed by this huge garden, but upon exploring it, I found many wonderful nooks and crannies, with fantastic plants, interesting buildings and beautiful vistas.

As mentioned, the garden is huge and you'll be doing a lot of walking. Additionally, a big part of the garden is very hilly, so you will be walking up or down steep slopes a lot. I don't recommend visiting if you have trouble walking in any way.

There are a decent amount of benches and other sitting places, and there are free toilets as well. The toilets can take a while to reach, though, depending on where you are in the garden.

I recommend visiting the garden early, when they open, and stay there until noon, if you want to see all of what the garden has to offer. As the garden is spacious, it does not feel as crowded as many places in Firenze do.

If you don't have trouble walking, I wholly recommend visiting.

Such a huge nice garden with stunning views. We bought a ticket for Pitti Palace & Boboli Gardens. I think the price (14€) is fair. It is really huge garden with ups and downs. The weather was so cloudy and sometimes rainy when we were there but it has different taste anyway. The palace also has lots of museums and masterpieces inside. I recommend you to check this place.

Beautiful place with an amazing view of the city at the top! Really worth the visit if you like nature and beautiful landscapes. There are also plenty of statues/sculptures along the gardens. Nice place for a stroll in a sunny afternoon.

Beautiful gardens with great vistas. These gardens are quite accessible by walking. The space allowed for a lot of visitors without feeling crowded.
The palace at the gardens is worthwhile visiting as it has many examples of decor, such as curtains, lighting, furniture and of course art. It is easy to imagine the gatherings that must have occurred at this opulent palace and gardens.

Absolutely beautiful! I was in awe. The gardens are very well kept as well. Though I might add that it is very big, so keep that in mind and make sure you’re prepared for that. Don’t miss out on exploring all of the gems in all the corners of the gardens

Went here early in the morning and got some amazing photos of the city and gardens. Not any flowers but a ton of cool statues as well as some nice fountains. It's the most nature I've seen in Italy so far across a few cities we've traveled.

Lots of the statues are very old and dilapidated. They are also very far apart so you have to walk round the whole gardens to see them..it would be better if they were newer and all together.
I am joking- it's beautiful ❤ well worth spending your time here

It’s definitely worth buying a ticket and go inside the gardens. I would suggest during summertime will be better and make sure you have enough time to attend the other side of the gardens so I would suggest you to go in in the morning.

Beautiful space! We spent our time walking to the top and walking back down. There are a lot of areas to sit and relax in along the path and on the grass. We went closer to closing so we can see the sun go down, definitely worth it for the view!

Nice to spend some time outside walking these gardens after visiting the Pitti Palace Museum. Quite steep climb, without any steps made to facilitate.

Gardens are quiet as not many venture across the river. Well worth a visit for the views across Florence and a quiet stroll around the gardens. You can go out and come back in on the same ticket.. So a visit to Fort Belvedere is worth it as well.. there's a nice peaceful cafe, as well as an interesting art exhibition.

Our apartment was located right next to Boboli Gardens so was a must visit and it did not fail my expectations. Some beautiful collection of landscapes gardens with a wide variety of sculptures and water features. You could see the great lengths the Medici family went to achieve such an impressive, picturesque and very relaxing garden. I particularly loved the Jupiter statue, Tindaro Screpolato face, coffee house (though closed it would have provided an excellent panoramic view), Grotto Adam Eve, Amphitheatre, and many more

Amazing garden, beautifully cared for. All the green vegetation that is missing in the city center is there !

Perhaps the most underrated tour of my entire trip & the reasons are simple - it's an oasis in the city. Florence can be LOUD with bells ringing all day + the constant chatter of conversation on the streets below, so having this couple hours of tranquility was exactly what I needed. Make sure you grap a map bc you can easily miss sections of the gardens (it's HUGE) & no worries about bringing a water bottle since there's a public drinking fountain like you'd find in Rome located somewhere in the middle.

Pro tip: for those with kids in strollers - make sure it's got the big wheels bc most of the paths are loose gravel & I saw some struggling.

Beautiful park to visit, and would recommend dedicating 2-3 hours to explore most of the gardens. You can enjoy views all the way from fountains, buildings, flowers, skyline views, and statues.

Tickets to enter the gardens doesn’t take long (just under 10 mins)!

Great for the afternoon as the views and the sunset combined provide a great relaxing atmosphere. Please note it’s 6-10 euro entry however it’s a great place to stroll and see city views so worth it imo.

So worth it. Beautiful place to spend an hour or two strolling the grounds and breathing in fresh and fragrant air. Seeing this in the fall was lovely to get a taste of the changing leaves.
