Royal Hotel Sanremo

This Hotel provides a 10 star Guest Experience! The entire staff is so friendly and fun! The accommodations are stunning and comfortable and the pool was gorgeous. Great location walking to beach and town! I want to return to Sanremo just to stay here again!

Obviously it's a 5*L hotel.
Your car is taken care of right at arrival, as well as luggages. Getting car back on depature was very quick.
Front desk very welcoming and fast for check in.
Rooms are huge with all expected confort.
Dinner is hotel restaurant terrace was great (and elevated price. Approximately 200€ for 2).
Breakfast buffet was nice but not overwelming. No fresh orange juice. Bred was not 'fresh'.
Hotel has many lounges, and a huge sera water pool outside facing the sea shore.

I can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel!!! If you are going to Sanremo, STAY HERE! Service is top notch, grounds are impeccable, pool is beautiful, nearby beach and close to shopping, gelato and restaurants galore! One of my favorite places!

5 STAR ALL THE WAY!! What a beautiful historic hotel. From the moment we were greeted by Valet I knew this place would not disapoint.

Elegantly decorated interiors throughout the whole hotel. Lovely furnishings and Persian and Turkish rugs line the orginal floors in the lobby and public rooms as well as the guest rooms.

The staff were all friendly and spoke English. Tipping was not easy as some of the staff refused our tips and there is no room to tip on credit card charge forms. This was lovely as we were able to just enjoy the service and location without having to consider tipping everytime we ordered something.

The pool and exterior are a gem. A salt water pool that resembles and acient roman ruin that is giant and deep. The gorgous veranda overlooking the mediteranean is perfect for morning coffee or evening drink. And speaking of drinks...the bar makes amazing drinks.

We had a junior suite with sea view and everything was lovely. Two bathrooms, one with tub, fully lined in Marble with all the amenities you'll need...toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, robe (even for kids), shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, the list goes on.

I would love to return to this place again, simply to just enjoy the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and loved it very much. We had the junior suite and they upgraded us to another one with a balcony. The location is perfect, easy to walk to the downtown area, tons of shopping and eateries. The hotel staff was super nice and very professional. One thing to note, we did not have good WiFi and that was annoying however, the management went out of their way, trying to fix it. It seemed like it was an issue just in this room, I'm sure they will rectify it in the future. Breakfast was amazing, and the pool refreshing as it was pretty hot.

Not quiet but you feel the hustle bustle of the city, which is a nice vibe too.

A bit disappointed it was closing just before the 1st Nov week end which is a public holiday in France.
The beach was closed too.

There’s service and then there’s the Royal Hotel Sanremo service. It’s faultless. Perfect place for both adults and children. The true Italian experience. Anyone who complains that the hotel needs renovations is missing the point entirely . The hotel has this old school charm that hardly exists anymore and is impeccably maintained by a truly dedicated team . Anyway thank you Royal Hotel for such a beautiful experience. To the next time .

Brilliant location, royal interiors, and the restaurant and bar service is exceptional.

We had some concerns and suggestions though: we had upgrade upon availability in our reservation but we were told there is no availability (though there were many still to book on their website and external websites for the same day). So I have some concerns there for transparency. I didnt challenge the reception because next upgrade level would have been hill view and didnt want to loose sea view. Second suggestion is for the spa treatment. Everything was excellent except that message was done with gloves on! This created sometimes stretch sounds during massage which were not relaxing and were disturbing. They should make it clear during time of booking such practices being followed.

Bit with these two concerns, our trip , stay and overall service doesnt deserve any less points. Exceptional!

Excellent stay. We enjoyed our week at the Royal Sanremo. The Royal stand out for it impecable service. Both restaurants offer a classic italian kitchen with ligurian influences with a wine list for all budgets. We had a comfortable old-school Superior Room with a small balcony. Great seaview and view on the hotel gardens with its impressive palms. In the evening enjoying the aperitivo on the bar's terrace with piano tunes in the background. Pool area was quite crowded as it was high season. It was lovely to enjoy breakfast each morning on the terrace, however breakfast buffet is a point of improvement it missed a bit the 'finesse' one expects of a 5 star luxury hotel.

Really good place to spend several days! Panorama view on the sea. Large outdoor swimming pool with heated water of some 28 degrees. Beautiful flowers in the garden. Rooms with very large terrace. Internet is good with speed up to 17 Mbit/s with no password! Parking is free in front of the hotel if you are lucky enough to find the place, otherwise 18 €.

The quintessential definition of luxury. The room was beautiful with an amazing view. The pool was so relaxing and the service perfect. I can’t wait to return to spend more time there.

I like this elegant hotel. I have been there during Festival of Sanremo 2019. Very comfortable room sell furnished. Staff very kind. Wonderful view and garden with swimming pool. Breakfast enourmous and various. I really suggest it.

Rosa was the highlight of our visit to Sanremo. At the reception she greeted us warmly and professionally at 11pm and checked us out the next afternoon.
The hotel is an old grand hotel who’s height was really in the 60s. Huge renovations would need to be considered but the glamor still remains which is very hard to find these days. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding and all staff extremely professional.

Excellence and exclusivity of the service and the wonderful location that distinguishes the Prophet from the rest of the neighboring hotels and facilities that feel comfortable and luxury is the title of this hotel is the most wonderful, I think it is appropriate to raise the degree of comfort in the classic rooms with high funds. Thanks to the hotel staff who were meticulous in the comfort of guests.

We had en excellent stay. It's an Historical palace hotel with top service if you're looking for a stylish boutique hotel than maybe you should look elsewhere. Location ! God breakfast service.

Elegant, spotlessly clean, staff always working hard, always behaving very professional and going the extra mile to satisfy any requests. Beautiful building and perfect location, excellent spa facilities, magnificent views, only regret is that we did not book to stay more than 4 nights.

This is how hotels should be. There is not too much else to say. You pay premium, you get premium. Full stop.
