Le Ginestre Assisi

Silvia and Eddie were extremely welcoming, kind, funny, and very thoughtful. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. Silvia picked us up at the train station with additional cost for fuel but much cheaper than what we would have to pay for taxi. When I got to her place I just could not believe the view from the house. The house oversees the valley and the room that we stayed in also has the same view from the bedroom and the bathroom. The room was spotless clean with a nice farm style to it. The common area was very cozy with a wood burning fireplace and is also where we eat breakfast and dinner made by Silvia and Eddie. The food was incredibly fresh and taste great! And when I mean fresh, I mean the eggs that you eat during breakfast are from the hens in their backyard. And the pasta that we had was made by me under Eddie’s supervision. He offers homemade pasta class and I have to say it was the greatest experience I’ve ever had (he did during the time, not sure about now). I also had a body massage from a local yoga instructor that came up to Silvia’s place and does the massage right inside the back room. There’s a nice short hiking trail in their backyard that brings you up to an incredible view of the valley. Hot tubs and pools that are open during the summer time with amazing view as well. Being in Assisi and at Silvia and Eddie’s place was the best way my bf and I could ever experience what Italy is truly all about.

The perfect place for relaxation and peace! Le Ginestre has the best of both worlds. Just a few minutes from the beautiful town of Assisi, but tucked away and surrounded by nature. Silvia and Eddie are wonderful hosts and have a great eye for detail. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and quiet. Thank you for a great stay Silvia, Eddie and animali. We shall definitely be returning one day!

We spend two nights at Le Ginestre, and had such a wonderful time there..! Silvia is a fantastic host, she managed everything to be sure the house would be perfect for our stay. Thank you so much for your kindness, we were glad to meet you and share good talks ! Your Bed and Breakfast is perfect, such a peaceful place to rest, and Assisi is a must-see location !

We stayed for 5 night with Silvia in this dream of an B&B. We took the smaller iltalian breakfast, as we aren't large eaters in the morning, and it hits just the right spot. The coffee is good and strong. Sylvia makes sure that you have everything you need. You can ask her anything and she'll see if she can make it happen. She'll also make sure to take the time to have a chat with you about the things of life. She is great company! There is a fantastic pool, surrounded by lavender and rosemary. After 5 days we were still astounded by the views from the terrace and the pool. We did a short hike up the mountain, and Sylvia insisted we took a picnic backback, which was such a wonderful idea. If you are lucky you'll see deer, birds of prey, lizards and all kind of creatures. We had a great experience wine tasting with Nila from bibenda in Assisi, followed by dinner at the B&B down the road.
In picking le Ginestre you have to know that you are more isolated, and will need a car to go for dinner most of the days. But you get so much peace and quite in return. Even after 5 days there were still small hiden nooks to discover on the domain of le Ginestre. There are two sweet old dogs that keep you company. Maia barks with excitement the first time she sees you, but she is a sweet old thing.

Ps. We had some bad luck on the road before check-in, so we only arrived after 23.00. Sylvia, with all the goodness in her heart, stayed specially for us.

Le Ginestre Bed and Breakfast is a magical place in the mountains near Assisi. I will always remember the time we spent there. The location of the Bed and Breakfast is incredible. It's peaceful and quiet, full of charm, has s variety of very unique rooms and a beautiful pool. And the view ....nothing comparable. Thank you Silvia and Eddie for your amazing hospitality.

The sign by the road says Paradiso 32... And that's exactly what this was for us.
Silvia and Eddie are amazing: welcoming, warm, open and have a great sense of humor. They were so helpful. The 4 days we spent here, flew by.
The accomodation is comfortable, clean and very beautiful. Food is goooood and very reasonably priced . So grateful that we found this place!

They were ready from start to finish to make it an unforgettable dream vacation. When you arrive, peace immediately falls over you. both in the apartment and outside you will find endless beautiful details that make it very cozy. The lovely swimming pool with the blissful floating bed, the scent of the lavender, the beautiful view and beautiful terrace, a starry sky in the wonderful silence. It all makes it like a dream. The breakfast was also delicious. Sylvia provides variety and can bake deliciously. Maja and Lillo are also 2 lovely dogs that love to cuddle. We enjoyed every moment with our family.

We have traveled a lot and already visited beautiful places with the feeling, it is beautiful but want to see other things next time, but this is the first place we want to go back because it is so perfect. Sylvia, Eddie, you work hard but make people so happy.

Heavenly. Tucked away in the hills near Assisi, this is the perfect place to soak up the rich beauty of Umbria and unwind. From the lovely stone house to the big pool, the abundance of flowers and the breathtaking views, we simply adored it. Silvia who runs the b&b is a wonderful hostess and serves a yummy breakast with eggs from her own chickens. She goes out of her way to help out with activity planning - her recommendations for restaurants and hikes were superb. We stayed for a week in late May / early June and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. So glad we discovered this place!

We had a wonderful stay in June 2019. Ideal place to relax and gain strenght and balance. A lot of places/events to visit nearby, if ever you want a change from the breathtaking beauty of the place. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hosts are very attentive and friendly. It is amazing how well we slept in the night woken only by birds and incredible beauty of mornings

Le Ginestre is a vey special B&B. The host Sylvia runs the B&B in a very familial way. You feel very welcome from the first minute after arrival. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. The pool is simply a Dream...especially the view on the hills surrounding the B&B. We loved the breakfast very much: homemade bread, cakes, jam, eggs individually prepared etc. etc. There is plenty you can do in the area: visiting Assisi, go hiking, visit Gubbio and many other small and lovely historic towns of Umbria. Our kids loved the animals (dog Maia, cats, chicken) at the B&B a lot, see picture. We will for sure come back again! Thank you Sylvia for the amazing week!

Spent a glorious week here. The apartment was lovely with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills covered with Spanish broom. Rose bushes galore on the property and a pool to cool off and relax after sight-seeing made you feel like prolonging your stay. Silvia, the gracious hostess, served a tasty breakfast and was very helpful with advice for restaurants and points of interest. It's a B&B I can highly recommend for those who want to relax and enjoy the Dolce Vita after a busy day visiting the cultural highlights. This place gets full points from me. 👍

A real paradise! We absolutely loved it here and will defenitly stay again! Silvia is simply fantastic, the rooms extremly well decorated , the garden, pool, breakfast area. ..well...a paradise. Wonderful views, cute pets a breakfast with everything. ..eggs, ham, cheese, cornetti. ..simply cannot recommend it highly enough. .a place for relaxing, enjoying and feeling wonderful

Heavenly. Wonderful service, comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Facilities are extensive, and this is a wonderful place to relax in. Incredible view. Assisi is a great place to visit and the owners will make sure you are comfortable and pampered.

This place forever changed my life! I didn't know I needed this experience as I am used to a fast pace life. Phenomenal agritourismo bed and breakfast location. Quaint, full of charm, outstanding hosts, delicious breakfast and low cost delicious lunch and wine. Clean rooms, nice shower, beautiful natural surroundings unlike the over crowded. touristy areas such as Rome and Florence!

Eravamo una scolaresca di 19 persone ed abbiamo passato lì 3 giorni. La proprietaria veramente gentilissima e disponibile, molto comprensiva, ci ha lasciati completamente liberi. La struttura è dotata di un cucinone dove poter cucinare e mangiare tutti insieme. Le camere sono perfette, ben arredate e pulitissime. Niente da dire, consigliatissimo!!!
