Giomici Castle

We spent a week there during our stay in Italy, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we will remember this stay as an extremely enjoyable one. The service was great, the room fully equipped and very comfortable, the atmosphere was amazing. There are plenty of places to walk and rest around, Assisi is 30 minutes away. We didn't eat dinner, but the breakfasts were very good. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

What an Experience! We couldn’t fault anything with the Castle, from check in to checkout. The apartment was spacious, clean and everything we needed ( watching the sunset from our balcony was pretty special) and unbelievably priced.
The Grounds were spectacular. The dinner in the Castle was one of the best meals we have had, breakfast was a great selection of pastries, savoury and sweet selections. We were able to walk up to the tower at any time which was a great surprise in itself and beautiful views. Marco was an amazing host. It was a pleasure to meet him.

This place is a dream. Authenticity can be found in every corner. It’s quiet and allows for relaxation in the sorrounding nature. The service was excellent. I will be back this summer!

Loved loved loved this place. Marco was an amazing host. He was very knowledgeable about the property and very nice as well. If you want a peaceful, relaxing stay this is your place. Highly recommended. Breakfast is buffet style.

This is a place that has stolen our heart. This was our second stay and we will definitely come back. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, the staff is kind and friendly, the surroundings of the castle will just blow your mind and their 4-course dinner in the castle courtyard is divine. And if you like horse riding, there are castle stables full of beautiful horses that will take you through the wonderful Umbrian countryside. I would give it 6 out of 5 :)

Best castle in Italy to stay in!! Staff goes above and beyond! Views are magnificent! Breakfast is great! Common rooms are lovely! The tower is a treat!!

Most amazing place and atmosphere I have ever seen. I can't stop talking to everyone about Giomici castle. So happy we got to see the sunrise from the Castle. Marco and everyone was so nice and accommodating. Can't wait to return

Enchanting and romantic! Love the history, the tower to explore, the romantic suites and the beautiful views. It’s begging to be a location for lovers to frolic. I hope to come back again soon.

Beautiful castle! Located on the top of the hill, and beautifully restored. The rooms are spacious and a mix of modern and old. We had a great experience!

A medieval castle on the top of a hill! One of the most incredible experience I have ever had! It's magical! The environment of this place travels you centuries back in time! The renovation of the castle is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are clean, beautiful and have all the needed amenities! Don't miss this unique experience!

A very pleasant surprise. Accommodation in a renovated castle (you can go to the tower anytime). Great atmosphere. Nice staff. Excellent dinners.

cant fault this place for a fantastic experience. rooms have great views over the estate and surrounding valleys, clean neat bathrooms, about 5 kms or 10-15 min scenic drive to town with excellent well-stocked supermarket for self catering, large communal kitchen upstairs, refrigerators, quaint pool, freeWiFi, rooms and grounds kept in traditional medieval stone finish and period furnishings. Fantastic host, Andrea who is super knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help. Breakfast was very nice without being outstanding. Very quiet and relaxing, with superlative sunsets and many viewing points. Good base for exploring Umbria, and esp Assisi. Very highly recommended stay

Exactly as described, a quaint castle at the top of a mountain with a beautiful view. Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was delicious. Awesome stay!

Views to die for! Great place to relax and get away. We were there for a wedding and the staff was accommodating despite complicated logistics. If I could spend a week there just looking at the sun rise and set I would.

ein wirklich besonderer Platz, 1000 jähriges Gebäude mit Sachverstand als Hotel adaptiert ohne die Atmosphäre zu zerstören, bemerkenswert ist die Umgebung, auf dem waldigen Hügel spielen junge Wildschweine, spazieren Füchse und bellen nachts Rehböcke.
Das Personal ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit, professionell und freundlich-
Technische Ausstattung funktioniert problemlos, besondere Erwähnung verdient die Heizung, die sehr gut funktioniert und den Aufenthalt auch in kühleren Zeiten behaglich macht. WiFi funktioniert sehr gut, was angesichts der wirklich sehr massiven Mauern den gekonnten Umgang mit der Technik zeigt.
Frühstück und Abendessen werden gesondert verrechnet, sind das Geld jedenfalls wert.
Leider wohne ich fast 1000km entfernt, sonst würde ich zumindest ein Wochenende pro Monat dort verbringen

Tutto, semplicemente TUTTO, a partire dallo staff che se in prima cosa il personale che si occupa della struttura dove vieni accolto è inadeguato scortese o come capita spesso di trovare non ha la passione per quello che svolge la location può essere anche meravigliosa ma passa in secondo piano. Poi il Castello di Giomici è stupendo immerso nella Valnerina una perla vera, produce energia positiva e la trasmette alle persone che vi soggiornano dentro le sue mura medioevali. All'interno delle stanza vedere la mura originali da un senso di appartenenza ad altri tempi, troppo Castelli vengono ristrutturati in maniera moderna e perdono totalmente l'armonia. Abbiamo cenato lì per due giorni io e la mia ragazza e siamo stati benissimo, la cucina Umbra che viene offerta ci ha soddisfatto in pieno. Marco oltre che essere preparato è stato molto cordiale, grande davvero. In fine Torre che ti permettono di visitare è il Top del Top, lassù ammiri tutto il paesaggio e la valle a perdita d'occhio.
