Had an amazing time at Susafa. It is off the beaten track, but well worth the effort, in fact that’s half the charm. Felt like an oasis of tranquility in the Sicilian countryside.

Food was excellent and very fresh - every meal was lovely. I aim to come back, to visit again.

Susafa was well worth the hike. It's situated in the farmlands of central Sicily, so a-lot of hilly / twisty roads to get to. We spent 3-nights and were amazed by the property, staff, and food.

It truly felt like we were being hosted. The owner was very present and interacts with the guests daily. I believe his family dates generations back to this property. All the food, wine, and drink selections blew us away.

The pool is breath taking and since there are only so many rooms, nothing ever felt crowded.

This is great stay if you're looking to relax and appreciate the local surroundings.

There are a few small towns nearby that give you a true sense of the local life there.

We loved nearby restaurant Terrazza Costantino, a tasting restaurant 30 minutes away that seats 3 tables a night. Super affordable.

My partner and I stayed at Susafa in Sicily and it was absolutely amazing. We were blown away by the stunning views and the wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious and we enjoyed every meal - the flavors and presentation were just perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. But our favorite part of the hotel was definitely the pool area - it was so peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of loungers to soak up the sun.

Overall, we had an unforgettable stay at Susafa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway. We can't wait to come back!

One of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever been. The best taste in every detail, a place that feels like home, with kind staff, stunning views and delicious food fresh from their garden. Pure Italian finest taste, we couldn’t be happier to have stayed here.

For me this place is absolutely magical with top level service, high quality rustic food, great selection of wines, delicious cocktails. Calmness, nature, breathtaking views!
The price of food corresponds to its quality in my opinion.
As for the road, it is not great but not that bad. Just drive attentively.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Perfect place to wind down and just relax in front of the fire place.

The massage was absolutely amazing. Can't speak more highly of this - world class. We booked in twice while we were there.

We spent three nights at Susafa at the end of a two week Sicily journey. It was the best way to end our trip surrounded by incredible country side and valley views. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing few days.

The staff are so passionate about the work and Susafa project. It comes through all aspects from the restaurant, bar, reception, and people looking after the gardens. Manfredi also takes time to give wine tasting classes and tours of the grounds, including an active role in running the hotel.

Even though Susafa is far from other towns and hotels, it has everything you’d need rain or shine. There’s a great pool, bar space, and classes (cooking, wine tasting etc.)

We’ll 100% be going out of our way to come back to Sicily to stay at Susafa again.

Masseria Susafa is a unique and special place. The Sicilian destination is worth the effort to get here. As the only Condé Nast selected property on the entire island, this an intimate experience for the adult-only guests occupying the 17 customized rooms. Multilingual staff offer impeccable service in the restaurant, bar and poolside. It’s no wonder that travellers from around the world make this a must-see location for couples, friends or even destination weddings. But plan ahead … it’s usually fully booked for the summer season. We’re glad we did!

We had a lovely two night stay as part of our honeymoon at this beautiful boutique hotel. First of all, the service was exceptional and all the staff were wonderful. We arrived to enjoy a welcome drink while the staff checked us in, parked our car and took our luggage to the room. Breakfast was a highlight with a variety of home made goods and local produce. Dinner was fantastic and again used local produce including food grown onsite. They have a good selection of local wines which we enjoyed while playing chess in the bar/cellar. The rooms had a good balance of heritage and modern amenities. We loved the pool area which had sun loungers and beanbags, wandering through the magnificent gardens and the complimentary cooking demonstration. We can also highly recommend the picnic to other couples wanting to do something special on their trip. This hotel is a great choice for slowing down and enjoying some quiet time.

Fantastic place for a retreat. Super nice staff and super nice renovation of the masseria. Gorgeous swimming pool, beautiful restaurant, unique location. Sicily at its purest!

Such an incredible experience. The staff, the location, the views and the restaurant are all out of this world. Truly one of my favourite hotels of all time and will definitely be returning many times

Sadly left yesterday after a fantastic family wedding, delicious food, great service, superb breakfast. The staff couldn't be more helpful, they always did their best. Pricey restaurant but worth it as so good... They can supply babysitters who are fantastic. And a very friendly dog called Bruno! Rooms are air-conditioned tidy and well equipped. The pool is devine in the heat.

Susafa is a magical place. A beautiful and rejuvenating retreat deep in the Sicilian countryside. The most glorious spot. Wonderful warm staff. Gorgeous spaces indoors and out. The owner Manfredi is a welcoming and delightful host. Delicious food sourced locally. I am only sorry that we did not stay longer. I hope we can return someday.

Beautiful hideaway for 2 days - perfect food (breakfast) and dinner. Nice owner . Maybe a pool service for drinks but a outdoor bar is coming.

After 10 days of touring around Sicily, we booked 4 nights at Susafa. Wow! What an amazing experience. Living on a farm in Australia, we found the fresh air, views and relaxing nature of this location exactly what we wanted. The service was exceptional, with staff both attentive and helpful without being intrusive - a great balance. Susafa has a rich history within the same family for generations and their pride in the entire property was evident. I would whole heartedly recommend a stay at Susafa.

The hotel is very beautiful and elegant, the service is above description, the furniture and design in the rooms are very nice.. the restaurant was delicious. and the owner was very nice and helpful.. I fell in love with this place, really charming .. I hope to come back to the hotel one day

An absolute stunner. What a location and experience! If you’re looking for a quality treat, drop your money here. Everything was perfect from stay to breakfast, all meals and the pool area is superb.

Majority of veggies come from own gardens.

On top of that the whole family and all other people working at Susafa have been tremendously warm and hospitable. We will definitely be back.
