Peaceful, green, river - when you want to see different part of Catania not very far from the city center, it will be a good place to visit🌿

Nice clean beach not far from Catania centre. CAR Park 1€ entrance 5€ 2 sun bed with parasol 15€.Bufe is basic but good prices.

Lovely, well-kept place. I literally saw not one piece of trash while there (a miracle for Catania province). Entrance is easy to find and open (another miracle), just put GPS instructions to drive where the pin is. Multiple bird blinds are available from which to birdwatch.

Beautiful during sunset. You may find the odd washed up cocoanut, pumpkin, jellyfish or if you are lucky, Amber. Only 2 Amber hunters remain in the area, and this mysterious substance fetches a high price. Good luck with the hunt and enjoy the picturesque scenes

The beach is very nice, but deserves a better treatment to become wonderful.
Need to preserve seas from rubbish.

If you're traveling through the eastern sicily, located just south of Catania the Simeto river reserve is a precious chance to admire the numerous bird species that pass by the reserve during their journey up to north.
