Antica Fiaschetteria del Chianti

We have been twice to this small little restaurant, and had extremely great dinners and service. Creations are exceptional and not the usual recipes, which was very very tasty. The lady owner was super friendly and nice and her restaurant is in the way to some Michelin stars for what she presented. Any time again. All the best for the future.

Downtown San Casciano, lovely traditional Tuscan cuisine. Staff is very gentle, food is veeeery good
And the best thing is that is has a looong lunch schedule.
I mean if you get there to eat at 3.30 pm , they are always open.
(Considering that in Italy at 2.30 almost all restaurants close the kitchen, so las time to get to eat lunch is 2.00 pm)

One big advantage - it was open during Siesta, which for us - uneducated, but hungry tourists, was really life saving. We were received welcoming and very very well fed and taken care of. Don’t be shy - come here, it is a nice restaurant!

We enjoyed our dinner here very much. Staff are friendly and attentive, welcoming to our toddler. The food was delicious, simple, good Italian dishes. Great location for people watching on the corner of a piazza.

Fresh and delicious food, good service.

My wife and I were lucky enough to wander into this amazing establishment back in 2011. Everything was closed for lunch, including this restaurant, but the generous host still prepared us a platter of delicious local cured meats, cheeses, olives and rustic bread, whilst he and his family also sat at a nearby table having their own lunch. Everything in there was so authentic and not only was the owner keen to tell us about the locally produced food, but also about the amazing Chianti wines for which he then opened several bottles for us to sample... delicious! It was one of those amazing experiences that we will never forget!!

This was the best meal we had while in Italy, and one of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend the eggplant. May have to make another trip to Italy just to eat here again!

Small cozy restaurant. For us from Washington DC, prices are great. We've been traveling Italy for a while and this is in the top ten places we've eaten. Wonderful service, friendly staff and just a wonderful atmosphere.
