Ristorante MammaRosa "La Locanda"

We were looking for a good restaurant to eat dinner at when this place popped up as recommended. At first I thought it was a hotel that had their own restaurant but it turned out to be a completely separate building right next to it. The owner was so nice and accommodating to us, went into detail about the menu and gave us an English menu version to help us understand the details of each dish. The food was delicious! If you are in the area I would highly recommend stopping to eat here for dinner!

Seriously the most hidden gems of hidden gems in the world! We're so glad our farmbnb host made a reservation for us at this place. This cute little restaurant is tucked away in the tuscan countryside and we felt pretty lucky to have been served by none other than the chef himself. He was so sweet and accomodating, really made us feel special and cooked up a pretty good meal. The best meal in Italy so far!

Highly recommend the truffle duck pasta, it is sooooo good!

A must-see on the gastronomic map of Tuscany. Fresh products, good selection of local spirits. Good service, great kitchen and owner full of passion for food and guests. I will definitely come back here. Tenderloin with truffles is heaven

Great authentic restaurant! Amazing and real Tuscan food, very friendly host and awesome selection of wines (Chianti and other regions). Quality of food is very good, prices are fair. Grappa on the house ;)

I dined in Mamma Rosa during my last trip to Italy few years back and left the restaurant with a big smile on my face. This time wasn't different - from starter through first and second meal finishing with a sweet dessert every bite was delicious. I absolutely recommend Mamma Rosa for everyone who wants to have a good taste of local cuisine. I sure will visit it next time while in Toscana

If you ever find yourself in Florenc be sure to visit this restourant. The look of the restourant itself is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and approachable and the food is in one word PERFECT. ( you must try fiorentins steak )

A gem of a restaurant which you must visit when in Tuscany. This is the place for Florentine steak - it’s sublime! Great service too. We visit every time we come to the area.

Great service. Homey feel. My favorites for the night were the tagiatelle with smoked duck carpaccio and truffle and the roasted pork rib. Will def be back.
