Villa Cozzano

My husband and I just checked out of Villa Cozzano. We were both beyond excited for the stay and our experience did not in any way disappoint. If you’re looking for an authentic, charming, rustic, and enchanting Tuscan experience, this villa is for you.

The service is impeccable - everyone from the manager Sophie, to the owner Manual, to the cook Jimmy, and all the supporting staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. We did the cooking class, the outdoor private movie night, and the experience dinner and all were fantastic. Genuinely incredible food and enjoyable experiences on the property.

The rooms were as expected - comfortable and charming but definitely not modern. My husband and I had no issues with this because we were extremely comfortable and well looked after, and enjoyed the authenticity and old-world charm of the stay.

The location of the villa is close to several nice wineries, restaurants, and small villages, so it’s worth having a car.

I hope I can put into words how amazing our stay was at Villa Cozzano! I looked forward to my 3 nights at Villa Cozzano for MONTHS and it completely blew away all of my expectations. This is one of the most unique hotel experiences I've ever stayed at. It's truly magical.
Food, service, staff <3, authenticity = 10/10. You will not find another place like this in Tuscany/Umbria.
The rooms are perfectly restored to balance a charming, traditional and comfortable feel. Each corner of the property has the most incredible details - from rose vines crawling up historical walls, to the silver trays carrying prosecco to guests, to the relaxed tables under the pines or within the olive trees.
What's even more unique about this stay is that it forces you to slow down and appreciate the simple moments. I spent hours sitting in the little courtyard listening to the birds, enjoying the morning light, watching sunsets & rainbows illuminate the sky, enjoying special dining experiences with my friends. I was so relaxed and happy and at peace!
On top of this, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like a family. I had tears in my eyes leaving Villa Cozzano because I was so grateful for my experience there. Speaking of experiences, the cinema night under the stars was the highlight of my entire trip. The team stayed up till 1:30am after our movie was done to clean everything up and they were ready to help serve breakfast first thing the next morning with a smile on their face. They make your experiences MAGICAL and go above and beyond to do it.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It’s a stunning property, there is a gorgeous view, the beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning is strong, and the staff are excellent. They had screens on the windows, which Everything was perfect and I would gladly return and recommend this to anyone. It was a very nice and quiet resort.

Villa Cozzano is a Tuscan dream. From the San Giovese red wine, to their olive oil gelato (all made on site), staying at Villa Cozzano means eating well and being treated like family. All staff is friendly and ready to help your stay be nothing short of memorable. We can’t wait to go back!

Don”t miss Villa Cozzano for a magical experience. Had dinner here and was one of the best experiences I had in Tuscany ever. The story of the villa, the people, the food everything is amazing.

We loved absolutely everything about this property. The setting is stunning, like something from a postcard. We only stayed 2 nights and wished we had booked for longer. Manuel and his team could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. It’s like coming to stay with long lost family. The property has such an amazing history and Manuel treated us to a tour on our arrival. We dined at the restaurant on site and it was amazing. We loved the wine they make on site and took two bottles home with us. I would highly highly recommend Villa Cozzano to anyone coming to Tuscany and we will definitely be back.

The thoughtfulness in every detail at the Villa Cozzano makes this a stand out location to stay in your next trip to Italy. I stayed as a solo traveler and was made to feel so at home on these beautiful grounds. Absolutely take advantage of the activities offered by the Villa such as renting a vespa or taking a cooking class as they were some of the most memorable moments of my entire trip to Europe this past summer. I am counting down the moments until I can return to the Villa Cozzano!

My girlfriend and I recently had the most enchanting stay at Villa Cozzano in Tuscany! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and had a private tour around the stunning area with Manuel the owner of Villa Cozzano. It is a place with a lot of history. The beauty of the villa's traditional architecture and the breathtaking Tuscan landscape left us in awe. There are only 6 suites, so you really have your own space and you feel very private. It is a very family-friendly place - young couples seeking a quieter retreat might want to consider this aspect when planning their stay. The small team at Villa Cozzano truly elevated our stay. Their genuine hospitality and personalized service made us feel like cherished guests. They went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our visit was flawless. During our stay we had dinner here two times - the dishes were excellent, using local high quality ingredients. We booked the cinema night which was pure romance. Beneath the stars, the cozy setup and watching a good movie (that we could choose) transformed our night into an enchanting experience. In addition to the extraordinary accommodations and dining, Villa Cozzano's location is ideal for exploring the Tuscan region. We ventured into charming nearby villages and vineyards. We would love to visit Villa Cozzano again at any time.

Villa Cozzano is a magical place to stay for a vacation or celebrate your special day! This year I had a wedding at Villa Cozzano and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone at the Villa were very welcoming and always tried to help if something was needed. They were very quick, friendly and professional at the same time. The food was amazing! Rooms were very clean. Lovely pool and the nature is absolutely outstanding! Definitely will be back soon:)

We stayed at Cozzano as part of our honeymoon at the end of May this year. We had such a wonderful welcome from the owner Manuel and the rest of the staff. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The grounds and house were beautiful. They’ve done a good job to maintain the house in an authentic way - the rooms are basic but beautiful. We dined at their restaurant many times which was fantastic (although quite expensive) and very convenient. The pool was clean and well presented- we spent a lot of time here. I would recommend a visit to
Cozzano!

The only thing that we would have liked to see is a better equipped kitchen as we enjoy having the option to cook.

I don't even know where to begin to describe my love for Villa Cozzano. My girlfriend and I had a three week trip in Italy, starting in Milan and ending in Sicily. Part of our travels included a two night stay at Villa Cozzano. Two nights was not enough. It's an amazing 800 acre property, tucked away in Tuscan hills with a gorgeous pool, and antique rooms- it was truly magical. I'm originally from California Napa wine country; walking throughout the property reminded me of home and made me so emotional. It just touched my heart in such a special way with the architecture and family history. I can't speak more highly of the owner Manuel, the staff, and the kitchen. Everyone was so incredibly lovely and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel comfort and that we enjoyed our stay. Everything was so easy and communication was via Whatsapp. It was truly a perfect way to disconnect. We booked an experience dinner as well as a cinema night. It was worth every penny. We watched Life is Beautiful under the stars with our dessert. Definitely a memory that will be with me forever. We plan on coming back with family as well as ourselves in the soon future and booking more experiences.

NOTE: I saw another review on trip advisor that was negative. I'd like to clarify that I have NO IDEA what that lady was expecting or talking about. If you're looking for a cheesy resort style vacation hotel (think Cancun or Cabo)- this isnt for you. But if you're a traveler, who is looking for a unique, picturesque atmosphere experience that has a little bit of romance and nature- this is it. The food was heavenly and we literally have NO complaints. Additionally and separately but should be mentioned, as a LGBT couple- we felt 100% safe, respected, and cared for. So, please-- don't let any negative reviews sway you and book at Villa Cozzano!

I was lucky to have found and stayed in this beautiful villa at the time of summer slowly shifting into colourful Italian autumn.

Villa Cozzano is a gem, environment filled with peace and tranquility surrounded by nature ran by a bunch of brilliant, young and talented individuals that together have found an understanding and passion towards living the true “dolce vita” which they now desire to share with the world and make everyone who visits feel like they’re living the dream.

It is a highly prestigious place with exceptional food, service, accommodation and surroundings. If you look for a space to immerse yourself in a genuine Tuscan countryside - look no further. Manuel, Geraldine and Sophie will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive and will make sure you’re being taken care of throughout the whole length of your stay.

It is not easy to list all of the things that were difficult to leave behind at the end of my stay, but special mentions will definitely go to the food, wine, “experiences” they offer, the pool, views to the Tuscan countryside overlooking local towns and villages, mesmerising sunsets, moon rises, well designed and comfortable accommodation, amazing history of the place going back more than 500 years as well as the more recent story of the owner and his connection with the place, its development and the intention with which he’s been able to build and continually develop this wonderful villa.

It was an honour and a great pleasure staying at Villa Cozzano as well as meeting everyone who works there, this place will leave you in awe and will stay in your heart. I guarantee if you visit once, you will come back. The beauty of Villa Cozzano shines though all of the passion, hard work and determination of the whole team.

Simply spectacular. From the setting of the villa overlooking the dreamy Tuscan hills, the attention to every detail and regard for history, and the true hospitality of Manuel and his team. If you want an authentic, romantic experience of rustic, elegant Italian life, steeped in one family's history and their inspired vision to share their glorious property, go no further. We stayed at the villa for 5 days and ventured no further because Villa Cozzano truly induces dolce far niente. We shall return.

Highly recommend visiting Villa Cozzano. We absolutely adore this place and the people who run it. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed. We had dinner in their restaurant 3 out of the 4 nights we were there and enjoyed every meal. They use ingredients from their own garden (olive oil, herbs, truffle, etc). We cannot wait to come back. This place and the people have left a mark on us. Thank you for an unforgettable first time in Italy.

I have come here at least once a year since 2020 and will continue to do so. Manuel, Sofia and Geraldine are the perfect hosts and will make everyone feel at home at Cozzano.

The house from 1543 is so special and the whole place is full of beauty.

Villa Cozzano is just a dream and nothing less. From the second I got out of the car I knew this place is amazing. I spent 3 nights and despite the unusual weather for mid of May in Italy, I had such a wonderful time.
The family of Villa Cozzano (if I would call them stuff that would mean so little) is the dream team.
Passionate, committed, and respectful. There for me all the time, asking the right questions, making me feel sooooo comfortable. They are all so natural and that’s something I love so much about them. When people are kind because that’s how they truly are and not because they run a business after all.
They are making memories for a lifetime for their guests.
The food: they have like 10 dishes per meal and trust me you don’t need anything else. They are DELICIOUS, homemade.
I had most of the meals there because I liked everything so much and some of them even had twice.
Everything they are doing, they are doing with love and care.
The Villa is so charming and they pay attention and value and cherish every detail about the design of the rooms, the ambiance, and so on.
It’s the place I would like to come back to every year!
And I’ll try to find time to do this!

We went to Villa Cozzano for dinner. The journey there was already an experience and the view was a dream. We were warmly welcomed, Manuel and Geraldine showed us the villa and told us many exciting anecdotes. We were then allowed to enjoy the view and the sunset with a refreshing drink . it was incredibly beautifu! Afterwards we had dinner and the food was lovingly prepared and it was very tasty. There are also great dishes for vegetarians. The wine is also incredibly nice. We felt incredibly well looked after and comfortable, it was a perfect evening. We also bought wine, olive oil and honey from Villa Cozzano. Everything is great in terms of quality and taste, especially the honey is a dream!
Villa Cozzano is a small paradise in the middle of Tuscany/Umbria.
We would have liked to stay longer, but we'll definitely be returning soon! Grazie! p

We had the opportunity to visit Villa Cozzano in may. Manuel showed us this wonderful family owned jewel and proudly told about its history. Not only is it a wonderful property, it is also managed with a lot of love and passion by everyone involved. We enjoyed a lovingly prepared aperitif by Sofia with wine and olive oil from their own production. Not only the location, the house and the landscape are breathtaking, but also the highly motivated team, which is committed, friendly, helpful and tries to fulfill every wish, is part of this unique experience.
