I had been searching every northern restaurant for pasta a la vongole!! I found it and more. A beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. A gorgeous glass of white. My husband had a scrupulously oven fired pizza Diavolo. Don’t miss this spot. We’ve been doing Five star hotels and restaurants but this is the charming Italian experience you hope for with delicious food and wine.

I don't think I have the words to describe how good this restaurant was.
From the guy behind the bar at the front who welcomed us in, and then the beautiful lady on the till in the restaurant who asked me if I was a Sheikh, and proceeded to treat me and my family like royalty, the waiter who served us was truly a master of table service. And to the regal views of the lake.
My son had a fish pasta, which he loved, me and my wife ordered the 4seasons pizza, as the menu didn't say it contained ham, and unfortunately we were too uncultured to know 4seasons pizza always contains ham.
The waiter quickly took them away and explained to us 4seasons always has ham,
And then baked fresh 4seasons pizza without ham.(vegitarian)
The service was truly top class.
If you want to feel special and see Italian hospitality at its finest, this is definitely the place to go.
If you love beautiful views this place is definitely worth a visit.
I don't know what else to say. The historic streets outside, the atmosphere inside the fortress walls, just oozed class and history.

The patio overlooking the lake is the best! Gorgeous views of the lake, and astounding sunsets. Food is delicious - gnocchi with fish and truffles! And great pizza in the evenings; service very friendly, and the owner was always helpful and a joy to talk to. Of the restaurants in CdL, we went here the most during our month long stay.

Great Gnocchi and good meat. The view of lake is awesome. Nice service. The staff in the kitchen were very nice because we arrived on the our to close. Thank you.

We’ve been in Italy now for 3 1/2 weeks. We have been to some exceptional restaurants throughout Tuscany, staying in very high-end hotels with wonderful chefs, and it was only finally here at this location that my wife found what she believed to be the perfect Pasta Lavongle! She was truly in heaven. I had the oven fired Pizza Diavalo. It was delicious. And the view is exceptional. Don’t judge the place by the front entrance. Head out to the back which is just exceptional. Very nice service. And they gave me a huge glass with lots of ice! They indulged my American desire for large glasses and ice! ;)

A wonderful experience of a heavenly lunch with fresh fish, a very tasty dish of local meat products and spreads as a starter and an excellent rosé. At the entry which looks like a grocery shop but which hides a very good restaurant, you can enjoy the full taste of Italian cuisine at a democratic price.

This place is a hidden gem wow their pici vongole is to die for. And their pizza, ravioli and gnocchi just gorgoeus like the pasta queen would say. If you do not go you are missing out. The owners are super lovely and you can also bring your dogs. This place is thumps up one of the best places to come and eat in Castiglione del lago.

Absolutely delicious!!! It is hard to decide what to order because everything is so good!!!
Ravioli bufalotti with truffle is pure delight, as well has homemade pici and risotto allo scoglio were some of our favorite! Don’t miss enjoying a meal here when you visit Castiglion del Lago 😁

Great service and fresh seafood dishes!

One of the best restaurants in town. The restaurant is owned by Mira and serves mostly seafood, but the vegetarian options are delicious too. Weve been coming here for years and the beautiful lake view is still a surprise every time. Prices are very decent too, as many locals eat here too.

I always visit this place when I go to Italy with my family! I love their menu, there’s too many choices to choose from! Their homemade pasta is my favorite. At the end of the meal the owner presented herself and offered us a coffee everytime we came! The best food, the best view, the best service, and the best experience. I come here everytime for a reason! You’re gonna love it here!

When we go to Italy, one of our places we go to is Caffe Latino in Castiglione del Lago. This isn’t the first time we came back! With the family, we eat fish from the sea, and the lake, homemade pasta, and delicious steak! The staff gives the best service, and the owner always offers a coffee with such an excellent presentation. Would deffinitely recommend going to this beautiful place! The view is amazing and everybody who works there are such kind and wonderful people, and it is some of the best food I have tried!

One of my favorite places to eat in Italy!! The charm of castiligione del lago shine through the terazzo of caffe latino and the graciousness of there staff. Just the cutest little gem. From the pasta to the lovely seafood dishes and the gelato you can't go wrong. And a super plus in how clean the place felt really awesome! Thank you guys!!

We visited this restaurant during our vacation in Italy. The food is absolutely great! The pizza, fish platter, salad and everything was absolutely delicious! Also, the service over there is just amazing! Highly recommend to visit this place in Castiglione del Lago

Excellent food. We had the vongole and sea bream.

The spaghetti with clams was delicious. All serves for the family were generous and tasty reflecting the local cuisine. great view from the balcony and good service.
