Gorgeous Roman city ruin founded around 219 to 220 bc. Active archeology site. Very untourested but worth the visit. You can walk all over the old city and read the plaques explaining each building. Btw, the best Roman ruins I have ever scene are in Tunisia. Visit Dougga and El Gem and you will never look at the Roman ruins in Italy the same.

Great historical place. Well equiped and interesting

A beautiful archaeological site with active excavations and exploration. There is a lovely museum on site as well as a cafe. You can catch a bus to near the site from San Gemini or it is an easy drive. If you are feeling energetic you can even walk up the hill.

There is a well preserved forum, amphitheatre and also partial temples as well as an intact archway along the via Flaminica

What a surprise - this heritage offers a unique possibilty to travel to a roman city in rural area. Great!

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di visitare questo sito archeologico nella prima domenica di dicembre, in cui tra l'altro l'ingresso era gratuito come in tutte le prime domeniche del mese. Essendo arrivati all'orario di apertura non c'erano altri visitatori abbiamo potuto visitarlo in piena tranquillità e senza confusione. Il sito è molto curato e ben conservato, merita sicuramente una visita per chi si trova a Terni, dato che dista solo 20 minuti in auto.

Era sicuramente una bellissima città romana anche molto lussuosa da quello che ho visto, archi enormi edifici pubblici Ben fatti la via Flaminia con marciapiede e scoli dell'acqua, insomma ne vale proprio la pena farci una visita!

Luogo magico, sulle colline umbre vicino San Gemini! Sicuramente è un sito archeologico importante scelto proprio per la vicinanza di una fonte d’acqua. Il sito ha avuto una prima campagna di scavi dagli anni 50 agli anni 70, ed altri piccoli interventi che ancora oggi proseguono. La sua vastità richiederebbe ben altri investimenti. Non perdetevi questo luogo incantevole ricco di storia! Con annesso museo e chiesa romanica, il teatro e l’anfiteatro, le basiche e i templi, la necropoli, visitare per credere!

Un luogo magico, nonostante sia piuttosto vicino a casa mia, non c'ero mai stato. Una vera sorpresa! Qua potrete vivere l'emozione di visitare una vera città dell'antica roma, calpestare le pietre della Via Flaminia, sedere nel Foro dove sedevano in nostri antenati. Inoltre con la vostra visita, potrete contrubuire alla scoperta di altri edifici ancora nascosti.
